RapmsterT
For whatever reason, the AVIC-D3 won't stop displaying subtitles on DVD movies. I've got nothing against subtitles, but the irony of having to read a movie screen in a car is overwhelming. Any ideas?
HiFiSi
Go into the DVD's menu and turn off the subtitles.
RapmsterT
That was what I meant by "won't stop". The subtitles are displayed no matter if the setting is on or off.
HiFiSi
Is it just one movie or all of them.
RapmsterT
I've tracked it down a little deeper and found that subtitles do turn off as they're supposed to, they just default to "on" every time a movie is played. So I guess what I'm trying to do is change the default to "off" which would be the normal behavior for every DVD player I've ever seen before.
TravisT
Just searched and found this thread. I recently got a Z130BT and noticed the same problem. I can't find a setting to change the default for this. Each movie I play is played with subtitles on by default. I can disable them each time, but that's frustrating, and I'd like to think there is an option to change the default behavior.
