steveo555
I have a 2007 Mustang with the Shaker 500. I was thinking about buying the Avic-D3. My questions are: 1. Can I hook up the Pioneer CD-UB100 and be able to plug in an external hard drive to play music from it? Because I do not want to have to remove the navigation DVD. 2. I have Sirius antenna already on my car from the factory, it has a tuner also. Can this hook right up to the D3.
whtcrxghst
1. Short answer: Yes, it will work, but like crap. The Pioneer USB adaptor came out after the D3 so they weren't designed to work together. The on screen interface is awful 2. No, your factory tuner will not work with the D3. The antenna is a maybe. You will have to look at the connector
VBLUE42
A 5th gen ipod and the CDI200 interface cable would give you those desired features.
steveo555
I have a 3rd generation Ipod, would it work?

HiFiSi
1. Yeah, you can hook up a USB hard drive to it, but the interface is crap. Get an ipod and the ipod cable instead. Best decision I've ever made. 2. No, you have to get an aftermarket tuner/antenna to be able to use satellite radio with it, but you can transfer your subscription over to the new tuner from the old one.
