  1. SD card is listed on the European website though - http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/3 ... specs.html
  2. This is very disappointing. They don't seem to have added any info to their website about v3.0 since your original post
  3. Guys, I've just updated to firmware x1900. It now mutes the volume of the audio source when you approch a speed camera location - much easier to hear the beeps now! Cheers
  4. Hacking for the win lol! Good idea though - please post instructions, that would be superb.
  5. I don't think the SWI-PS needs the mute wire as you only make one connection from the SWI-PS to the unit. I think the mute wire is in-case you have some other AV equipment in your car that might need the AVIC to mute - say some other sort of telephone equipment etc.
  6. I'm in the UK mate and haven't found a way of changing the alerts. I agree, with music on they are very hard to hear. I also don't understand the display when you near a camera, it shows the distance to the camera which is fair enough but it always seems to list speed at 0 mph - is that perhaps the speed you are over the limit? Cheers.
  7. That's a nice looking install - very clean. I didn't know what a Honda Fit was - we call that the Honda Jazz in Europe. Cheers.
  8. It appears the European version is going to be called "Navgate Feeds" http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/10/2 ... eator.html
  9. My European F700BT came with a years subscription to download the location of speed cameras, both mobile and fixed - does the US version not have this?
  10. I've got an F700BT, not a 900. I've never used a USB stick and never likely too so I can't confirm if mine operates in the same way. It doesn't resume my iPod though! Cheers.
  11. My latest version European firmware is: Map Version - 01.000600 Version - 1.001500
  12. True - TTS voice is scratchy but the non-TTS voice is perfect.
  13. so why would the european models need an update if they never had the problems the american models had? I editted my earlier post - it appears I may have the latest (but European) firmware.
  14. someone on the forum talk about RF frequency, do you think it's the only limitation ? Thx No, the European and US units differ signifcantly. We (Europeans) don't have voice control, XM Radio, HD Radio etc. We don't seem to be suffering the problems that that US guys did with the original firmware. Additionally, My European version has this blue dot on the box. Cheers.
  15. I think it does as there's a picture of a Paris map on the box showing the Arc de Triomphe in 3D. The UK car already has that bracket fitted for other reasons so I'll probably mount my GPS antenna on top of it. Cheers.
