This has something to do with how the numbers are added on your phone. I have a Nexus One and it puts dashes between numbers when i add a contact so the contacts are transferred to the unit that way as well. When someone calls the unit caller ID doesn't have dashes in the numbers so it cannot recognize names. My friend has a blackberry with this unit and when someone calls him all the names show up because he has no dashes in contacts on his phone.

i purchased the garmin mic because the mic that comes with the headunit really sucks but i wanted to get a opinion what is the best place to put the mic.
