I would recommend some pioneer 3 ways, try adjusting the bass level down on your full range speakers and run a highpass filter over 120hz. since you have a sub you really dont need bass through your main speakers. Your stereos rms rating is approximately 20w, those speakers rate around 35w. I believe you need 6.5" speakers also.

I believe it is a hardware issue, I had a customer when the f700 first came out that had the same problem. We sent it to repair and it was fixed, im not sure what they repaired tho..

Mine did the same thing about a month ago, sent to be serviced/repaired. The tech there replaced the main control unit (around $450 for the part) that fixed the problem completely. I was not happy with the f700 anymore (mainly due to the gps) and I work for best buy so I just called the tech again and got him to give me an order to get a new unit. If you guys want I can try to find the repair order and find the part number for the part used.

ext input if I remember correctly would be the rear ip-pus input. you want av1 or 2 for the front aux. if you want to use the rear ip bus yyou need an aux adapter. once i hit 50 posts ill be putting some up in classifieds for cheap. but you should be able to use the front aux with no problem out of the box. have you read your manual?

My names Drew, I have lurked this forum for years for work and for my f700bt. It recently crapped out on my and through a warranty exhange I got the new kenwood 6180. I was going to post some stuff up on here that I have left over in classifieds but I need 50 posts. I'm an installer with best buy, I've been installing for 7 years professionally. So if anyone ever needs advice or help I'm always up to answer questions. I drive a 2010 Crimson Mica xB, my current setup is a Kenwood 6180 w/pacaudio swijack, ipod cable, sr20+scc1 for sirius. A alpine mrp850 w/a type-r 12" in a custom vented box

Have you tried replacing the IP-Bus cable? Or just the unit and antenna?
