in a burner program. do u select the UIF file and burn it resulting in the contents beeing burned or will it just put one UIF file on the disk?

I have this in ISO format. Tried it in my D3 and it works perfectly. I will up it to Rapidshare. If anyone is interested. will post the link later

I found a free program that you can use to convert the .uif file to .iso in order to burn it with ImgBurn (or your favorite burning program):

The west disc is being posted to alt.binaries.windows as we speak (I chose that over warez because it's a much less used group). It's going up in sections of 200 each (953 sections total).

is michigan maps included in the west disk?

When I try to d/l the software, it only takes a second and the file size is 18.1 kb. Anyone else having problems with this? I have tried on 3 computiers.

thats the torrent file. open that file in your favorate torrent program (bitlord for ex) and then it will d/l the actual data.

Okay people need ur help big time. I am usin MagicISO and it will not let me burn it with the Trial version so I had to decompress UIF the file and it reads 7.92GB. After thats all said and done how do I convert this file to an ISO and how do I burn it in Image burn???

well i got it downloaded and burned to a DL disk. first one i used magic ISO and it didnt work. then tried Imgburn and it worked first time! indeed it's a upgrade. and havent knoticed any map updates yet but sofar i'm happy! i need to send ya a beer

BUT how do u use imgburn??? This is where im havin mad problems. I decompressed the file on MagicISO and now Im tryin to burn it on Imgburn. What am I doin wrong here people?

I downloaded the program and what not like u said but its when Im in imgburn is where I get lost. I have never used imgburn before to actually know what to be doin... Sorry to sound like a nOObie but with imgburn I am one

Im waiting for the east disc as well. Good to have the west disc downloaded but in serious need of east. Can someone please get it up on torrent?

This disc doesn't seem to work with the D1... So i don't think its the exact disc that pioneer will be selling....

Agreed, make sure you convert the file to an .iso first, using that utuil.

Next burn the .iso with any of these. NERO, CD-CLONE, IMG BURN.

Make sure you have good quality media (DVD+R DL) for this.

Burn at a slow speed.

I dunno what to say but Im havin the MOST problem. MagicISO wont work for me, I even decompressed it, same shit. Imgburn wont work for me. I used 5 dual layer dvd's already and bullshit. I dunno what the hell Im doin wrong here but Im havin not luck what so ever. Dunno wat Im doin wrong

i would use alcohol 120 i have never had a problem burning the nav dvd's with it..use the lowest burn setting and all should be good make sure they are good dual layer dvd.. i use memorex alway work

Kryngle - If you have already decompressed the original UIF file to ISO, then all you have to do is choose to write an ISO to a disk, select ISO, insert DL disk, and burn.

I converted the iso and I used Nero to burn it. I didnt have any luck with magic iso either.

Thanks for the NZB ... much preferred over Torrent. Hopefully the EAST disc makes it's way to the NEwsgroups soon ..
