Yeah... it would really suck to give up some great mods, just for a few less seconds booting up. I noticed that those stupid bars are still there in the video on utube! lol.... way to go...

Can anyone check if the 2.0 firmware lets you change the 2D-mode to heads-up?

If there is anyone who is installing the 2.0 FW and DOES NOT do mods to their avic, can you please check to see that test mode is still accessible? It would be very much appreciated by everyone

In the video, in the beginning, they mention improvements to USB/SD but they don't talk about it anywhere else. Are there significant improvements in USB/SD music playback or is it all the same?

I updated my unit (F900BT bypassed) and WOW it is so much faster boot up time and the BT is alot better in terms of sound quality and overall usability of the unit is much better.

I can't download. I think the servers are working overtime. Can't wait for this. The iPod issues have been hit and miss and was annoying at times.

Does anyone know if the direction up is available on 2D mode in this upgrade?

Wow talk about timing. I JUST received my unit in the mail today!!

I will test it!!! Call it stupidity, call it courageous, call it what you want but I just finished installing my brand new F90BT in my wife's van. I have not changed one thing on it yet so I will load the new firmware and then attempt to boot with into testmode and will report back to you.

Just installed it! Works sooooooo much better now. My Blackberry actually links up and the phonebook transfer no longer has duplicate entries. It actually does everything they said it would. Screen is brighter, faster boot time, blue boxes are gone from the map, etc. I love this thing now. Love this site as well!

So the blue boxes are FOR SURE gone? I thought I saw that someone said they still appeared in the YouTube video...
