Yes you are correect the only reason I put it in a zip is because you can't upload .bmp's on this site.
can I make one of the quick button as phonebook contacts? if yes, may I have the code for hyperlink?

Is it possible to just edit my navgate file to add the hide button and quick launch buttons? I have boris mods that i dont want to part with.
If so do i need to disable full cockpit view? I'm not even sure why i have that enabled anyway. I wish it would only pop up when in route.
I also like how you cleaned up your blue boxes. They are annoying to look at being uneven and overlapping.
I don't think his changes will affect anything that I've put in my hacks, so edit away.
Calling up phone contacts... I think it is technically possible -- Pioneer had NanNGo put hooks to send system messages to the shell into iGO executable. But somebody needs to figure out what message to send -- phonebook is not part of the navigation software, so it can not be called as a normal iGO script state...
Launching contacts or the av or phone menu would be sweet., but I have NO idea how to do it.
so i just tried the mod to get the quick launch with the hidden buttons and it didnt work for me.
i followed all the steps when i load it into my Avic i see an outline for a button on the screen when i touch the outline the screen gave me an error saying something like "Fail to open icon_bg1_ghost" maybe i did something wrong!
so i even tried the 5 Button Quick Launch and still getting that same error "Fail to Open icon_bg1_ghost.bmp Exiting Application" the only one that works for me is the 10 Button Quick Launch
Can you post your current Zip please...... so all I'll have to change is the 3D truck.

Well i got it too work the 5 Button Quick Launch
i didnt get the Hidden button to work

Make sure you upload the .bmp file in the zip and not the actual zip file, and that .bmp goes in the 800_480 folder. If it is looking for the image it makes me think you have the code right but not the image.
here this should be easier, this is the file i used on mine and the hidden button works for me so just use this and edit however you want, i've done no mods to it yet except adding that hidden button code with the image and ive tested it on my f90bt

Yes it is possible and very easy, the blue is somewhat transparent now, all you have to do is change the alpha channel in the .bmp
Once you learn to use the alpha channel in photoshop (or similar graphics editor) you will have a lot of fun with this thing.
keeper22, any chance you know what bmp is used as the background for the current call display? I noticed it blocks the route data on the left of the screen and wanted to see if i could make it transparent or a different size.
I do not know off hand, but I do know the phone stuff is completely separate from the nav files so it is probably in the Image.res file. If you search for Image.res on here I believe people have listed what .bmp's it has in it.
Just a quick update, I took Kevin's data.zip, moved the stop nav and the voice mute a column to the left of the Compass column. Showing the Quick Launch works great. But now is there a way to set the 5th button on the quick launch to hide that bar?
All in all, I'm very happy now with how things are looking. All I need to do is replace the arrows and the 3dcar with the arrows I made.

Ok, that code works, I just have to redit KillRoute.bmp to look like the other buttons in the quick launch. Will post data.zip once I'm done.

5 Button Quick Launch - Show and Hide Enabled - Hidden to begin with - 5th button hides once the bar is shown
F150 has been replaced with arrows, sorry Keeper, it clashes with my Mazda tribute 
Stop Nav and voice Mute have been moved to a new column to the Left of the Compass
Again, and as always, know what you are doing before you mod, Back up your stuff before you mod, and RTFM before you mod. This DOES NOT Include the fonts and the sys.txt file from Keeper's Release that you need to run it. If you don't have those, download his release first, and replace his data.zip with mine.
Again I'll have pics shortly.

ok,just got home, that data.zip has an incorrect bmp for the hide quick launch bar. So i have to fix that.
But here are some pics..
Damn, I hate it when I change things but not completely, figured out the stop icon on the bar... Update coming shortly...
