on this moment i have put complete my old backup again on my f500bt

at first site everything likes to works very well but when i put it in to my car and take a drive , it doesnt give me road instruction anymore !

verry strange ! my radio goes to mute but i dint get any sound !

now after a couple of hours changing al those old files back to my unit it works again , now i have update my maps europe 2008.7 whit ezerider hack and licencefile it works smoothly again , i toke a backup now from my apl2 folder ,

because it works super now wihtout this modification !

i still whant to do this mod , but i am afraid that i gone have the same isues again ! maybe when i have some more time again , i will do some testing again !

i tried again and guess ho ?

did not work got the same isue again , No driving instruction , no master volume no voices !

i dont now where i can fix yhis in the data.zip file , i have seen that there a lot of hardware units are been listed inside this data.zip why is this ?

can somone explaine where i can modified this data.zip file that my sound wil work ?

These mods were specific to the US version of the data.zip. You might post your EU .zip file and maybe someone can do a compare to see all the differences.

Thanks for this great data.zip file and the original mod authors. It's the best one I've used yet and a HUGE improvement over the stock!

thanks again for the file i am loving the mods you compiled here... they are awesome...

I TOO AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE with no sound......... my navigation cuts off my music but i hear no master voice.... when i hit the mute button.... it obviously cuts out all navigation sound so my music does not get interrupted while in route mode... but resuming audio (for navigation directions) it will simply just mute my music audio but not say anything???

i have a US AVIC F700 unit.........

any help guys?

Question about those butterflys in the MSN screen... .Is there any way to remove them? They just seem out of place...

I installed everything, and almost everything works! Great job!

But the only thing I can't get working is the buildings in the .3dc file. I tried everything, used several .3c files (for the netherlands). Changed the filename from netherland in netherlands, etc.. The buildings in the .3dl file show up fine.

Anybody an idea?

I don't think either name or version should be a factor. You do need to use a hacked EzRider and a license file, though. Pioneer's license does not activate 3DC files.

Something else; the traffic information icons changed to american signs, instead of the former european signs. Does anybody now what i have to change in the data.zip to get the old ones back?

One зща the posted license files was worldwide one. It certainly works for US buildings for me... I'll see if I can test it with European buildings...

I now have buildings show on my unit as well as the pre-loaded landmarks. I simulated a route through downtown Chicago and there was literally hundreds of buildings showing. With that type of density of buildings showing, the button presses were noticeably slower to take effect. In a couple cases during simulation the the sheme turned to a all black background. Probably due to the speed of the simulation where the processor could not draw the image fast enough to keep.

Yeah, the unit isn't really designed for navigating through cities at 200+ miles per hour. At normal driving it keeps up fine...

Here's a picture of what it looks like when in simulation at a slower speed.

The landmarks are the pictures in back that have more of an actual image appearance. The buildings are all others that appear as caricatures of buildings.

Thanks to all who provided the info and files needed to get this function onto our units.

OMG. I went through every scheme from the color schemes thread to see which would bring out the buildings the best. My best luck is with JohnCougar1. Take a look. If someone has good luck with a particular scheme, let us know which.

I just got my 90bt and i am new here , i downloaded the data.zip file and copied it to the sd card in the directories listed ... now what? how do i update my unit ???

can sum1 write the whole procedure .... i know sounds like AVIC for dummies , but hey i am learning

OK, everything is working now! The TMC icons changed because in sys.txt there was a reference to tmc2.spr, changed it to tmc.spr and got the european icons again.

I did everything as shown, now my tilt works fine, but My voice navigation stopped working (on all voices not just TTS) - anyone know how to get it back??
