Does anyone know how to remove the GPS warning whenever you go into the map? I've only had the unit for a couple weeks and it's already VERY annoying. I don't have mine bypassed, and I don't plan on it right now, but I would like this warning to go away.
Remove Navi Warning
ive got mine bypassed and it still pops up, so it would be helpful to know if there is a way to remove the warning

this has been discussed so many time before, bypassed or not the message will still be there, please start reading the hacks thread before posting questions
People have been working on this for a while. I dont know if anything was solved in the time I was gone, but last I knew there was no functional solution.

I did read, and search and found nothing that seemed relevant. I tried searching "warning" and "remove warning".
It takes 1 second to push the ok button. IMO, it's really not that big of a deal.
It might take one second, but after doing it four thousand six hundred and seventy two times, it gets old.
This is just another bizarre example of the dumbing down of our society. Regulations FORCE Pioneer to put this on there because ONE person thought you could read a book or watch a movie on these things and ran into someone.
Does this "warning" REALLY say anything that 99.999% of thinking adult drivers don't know?
Sorry, but this "warning" just pisses me off EVERY time I see it. Uh, that's EVERY time I start my truck up.
It certainly would be useful if you could install something that would disable it after, say, hitting "OK" a thousand times...
IMHO

I'm not saying that it wouldn't be nice, but after having numerous GPS's it's something I have gotten used to.
Instead of removing the Navi Warning screen, can it be set to a time to be removed?
This warning has nothing to do with GPS. If you want to or try to remove warning message, I suggest you should check WinCE.
There must be hidden startup file that show warning message I guess.

No. It says "we are putting this safety message on our radio so that if you hurt yourself and/or someone else because you weren't paying attention to the road, you can't sue us because we told you so", and people would try to sue. Look at the classic lawsuit against McDonalds. Some dumbass burnt herself with a McD coffee then sued them because their lids didn't say "Caution: Hot". And won IIRC
I'm so glad someone is inquiring about this. Never seen it discussed before.
I have a suggestion, just take a bat to it and it'll go away. If it doesn't do it over and over again until it does. Then you can send it in to Pioneer and ask if they'll fix it and not re-install the message.

Read and searched, my a**. Just searching the word word warning as you said you did would have brought up this thread;
I'm sure I can find a dozen more threads asking the same.
Now quit wasting our time. If people would actually read things and search things out at there would be much more useless crap on this site. Yes we can just ignore it but for those that have actually took time to read it is pretty frustrating. Crap like this drives the good people away.

Well, now that I've read this thread, I will surely go away...
Oh wait, I've been to 4chan before. Everything is tame compared to that. LOL
Rock on, off-topic.
Rudeness is never a way to keep people. It would take less time to answer the question (even just to point them to the correct post) instead of being rude and mean about it.
N-S-E-W - man...chill, who pissed in you cheerios? If you don’t want to read and respond don’t, go back to your Judge Judy...baby Jesus

the reason we get pissed off is because the topic has been discussed so many times before and we've tried to explain it so many times too,
Folks, looking for a startup file will not help since I'm certain you will not find one. I have a pocketPC with NAV software and a similar warning pops up, but only when you launch the NAV program.
So I'm sure it's part of the Nav Program itself.
The F700 will work the same way. Notice that the warning only pops up when you want to navigate, at least it does on mine. What we need is a coder to dis-assemble the program, find the point the program calls that screen up and have them mod the code to think it's pressed already or bypass it.
If I could program I'd do it myself but we need to find a someone with that skill...

Here's some links where this had been discussed. Clues of where the warning message is stored is in the first link.
Normally I don't let this stuff get to me the way it did that day. When someone specifically said they searched and didn't find anything relevant, I blew my stack. I had just spent hours trying to get the trip computer to work and I see this worthless thread. I've lost much sleep trying to get the trip computer thingy working to SHARE with you guys. This will come up again and again. Maybe I'll just save the links above and paste them every time it comes up.

'Cept on AVIC it is not embedded in the NAVI software (you can easily set iGO to not display any warnings) but in the shell itself. Navigation has been disassembled already, to work on map licenses, and the warning does not come from there.
Not Possible to remove the warning, it's hard coded into the software.
