I have the same issue where I have to press the Map button for it to get out of search mode. Also, I have to disconnect and reconnect my iPod for it to recognize it every time I start my car.
This is because of Carver's nag NAV messages killer. It programs a click 2 seconds after AVIC booted up, and sometime it works (clicks on the message OK), and sometime it just clicks on the map.

Yes and vice-versa (for UC and EU firmware)! All you have to do is copy back the EU map files at the proper location.

How can I get a copy of this mod?? I think i scresed up my 910bt but an it friend is going to check it ot tomorrow. I may have deleted my entire flash disk.....will this replace everything i may have lost?

I need help please...
I did all the steps with the Rar and Sd. Got into the testmode and started the download.
Now when I did the transfer it didn't ask if I wanted to overwrite anything.
It finished the whole download (20 minutes or so) it closed the little file process window and said unable to copy a file. Not sure which file it was.
I then went into the "My Flash Drive" to see if the file was there and it was inside another file named "My Storage Device" and all the old files were still inside the "My Flash Drive" also. I'm thinking the old files should be deleted and the new files replace them. Should I delete all the old files and leave that one file in there (My Storage Device)? When I open the "My Storage Device" all the new files are inside. What should I do???
Any help would be appreciated!
when i do step 4 i guess it reads the files. up to 100% but that's it . it doesn't write an image . it doesn't tell me to reset. what am i doing wrong. i haven't been able to use my unit for weeks now. someone please help.
I apologize if this was already solved but I have a problem loading Real-View Night scheme. I had to delete it the unit kept restarting. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I need some help. I already had 3.0 installed and yesterday installed 3.1 and now whenever i start up the screen says Caution: Image may appear reversed. when i start driving it flashes that screen every 5 seconds or so. what could this be?? i'm going to try a fresh download and install but has anyone else had this happen???
so apparently going back to 3.0 didn't work, but i figured out what happened. some how when i installed 3.1 it turned on the back-up camera (that i don't have) but for some reason it couldn't tell what direction i was going

This is relevant for the FW 2.0 to upgrade to FW 3.0201.
But if you have FW 3.020x and want to have an all in one solution with MOD and other stuffs (see post #1), then you can install it. Otherwise, look at the Completed Mods section for the most up to date mods.

Please search and read in this thread. You can try to delete a couple of maps from the CONTENT\map folder.

I have not looked through all 43 pages, but when I'm in 3D view, none of my street names/labels are showing up. Is this normal?
It was there on v2.0 for me, but not it's not there. I can switch to 2D view, and the street names/labels show up just fine.
Any ideas?

That seems ridiculous! There are no seeders for the torrent so why not up it to mediafire or something?!

What is up with you guys? I just downloaded the torrent and installed everything on my F900 and it worked perfect. The torrent is still good. It only took me 15 min to download it.
i downloaded it 2 days ago and is currenty seeding with 1.3 Mbs...havent tried to install it yet since i need european maps first...
So I copied the files over and followed the directions, but now my deck goes to the Pioneer start up screen and then shuts off. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
