now iam having problems with the time showing up differently while in mp3/fm mode. the map displays the correct time and in the other its off by an hour. anyone else have this problem or a fix

This is my first post on here, but I had to say thank you so much. I just performed this and am very happy with the results thus far. I will keep everyone posted on how it continues to run through the coming days. I have a 900bt btw.

couple days ago, my F90BT quit booting, is got frozen on a blank screen. I have seen this happening to a lot o people. Just FYI I got it back and working by following this thread. THANKS A LOT!

I followed the instructions to update WinCE version 2.0070000 to 3.0 (on my F500BT Europe) to install the update after 3.02 of pioneer europe:

During the upgrade to 3.0 gives an error (checksummed error) but finally says UPDATE OK, but after reboot the screen goes black and the LED flashes. I can not boot the system or TestMode ....

What can I do? Is posible go back to version CE2.07?

Just load, and was able to pick english and voice now after restart will not boot and stuck on splash screen, any idea what can be wrong

I can't believe I spent the last 10 months cursing and hating my stock F900BT. I was ready to either purchase the outdated update or buy a new head unit (not Pioneer!).

This update has brought new life and usability to my unit. Thank you to everyone involved with this effort!

Please humor me ... after reading thru almost all 40 some pages of this great thread and trying to install 3.1 probably for the 5th time, I always end at the same spot ...

Yes I copied the content of the "My Flash Drive" folder into the folder and yes I did chose the format option in step 4 so I don't run out of space. Any Santa's out there with good advice how to get my stereo running again at all?

PS: I should mention that along the way I played around with the options in the blue screen menu and pressed FormatMBR once ... not sure if that has anything to do with it but thought worthwhile mentioning.

UPDATE: Got it fixed by following this post ... tool the IMG files from my other car with the same radio but also needed the DISK1 image. HURRAY. Awesome forum by the way!

Just tried this on my F90BT that I haven't used in about a year. Now it just goes to a black screen and no buttons work.

Worked flawless! what I would suggest is to delete everything in the flash disk in the windows ce part, BEFORE you copy your files, delete every file. after that, don,t copy the folder my flash disk, copy the files in that folder to the flash disk of the radio.

I am trying to do this update to a 700BT. I got the error message that says "can't find wince..". I unzipped the file and copied "My Flash Disk" to the root of the SD card. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

Would this fix my f90bt?

I put a custom splash screen on it then shortly after I upgrade it to the new firmware from pioneer and now when it turns on it just keeps restarting. I dunno what to try.

I have been reading this post for a long while and I did the download like I was suppose to do, and extracted the folders to my sd sandisk card, and when I take it to my f900bt and put it in and do all the steps, but when I select update sd/mmc(format) I get a message can't find winceimg.cks press any key message and then I can't go any further. If there is any help on what I am doing wrong will be greatly apreciated. ps I have used different sd cards, formatted sd card with fat32 and have to repeat the process 4 or 5 times.(PLEASE HELP)

did you put winceimg.bin and winceimg.cks on the root of the sdcard?

Testmode folder also needs to be on root of sdcard...

I've done the whole cyle but i got stuck on the pioneer logo and after a few seconds the system fall's out...(black screen and no button illumination)...

I have a US F700BT with FW (2.000000). I had a friend to install a hacked ezrider to make the unit use European and Middle Eastern Maps. I have a couple of questions please:

1. Can I update using this guide from the current FW I have?
   
2. If I copy the EU and ME maps into the folder will they work?

flash - you probably want to at least update to latest 2.x firmware available from pioneer

then you can re-apply hacked ezrider(igo), and then use whatever maps/pois that you want to...

It seems like no one is currently seeding the file...Would anyone mind seeding for a little while? This reboot problem is killing me and I need to download FX3.1
