I had an old 40 gig IBM drive sitting around and I put the image on and when I installed it in the Z2 it did a 45 second updating do not turn off and loaded perfectly, but of course reboots every 10 or 15 minutes. But I know my image wooks.

Wonder what is wrong with the stock drive??

I have been seeding for the last 48 hours and have sent about 2.5GB - sound right?

What OS are you using? This sounds like something that would pop up in Vista or 7.

Did you check Event Viewer? It might have some details there as well.

No one seeding at the moment.... :(

**update: downloading and uploading at 250kb/s, thank you.**

Is anybody seeding this anymore or is it dead?

Posted Oct 15, 2010 · 03:41 UTC#57

Still seeding. I've finally figured out the problem everyone is having; the openbittorent tracker is up and down like a yo-yo lately. It sometimes takes me up to 4 hours to finally connect to it, so make sure you have DHT enabled.

Can you see the avic hdd in windows explorer? If not, then windows does not see the hdd, and neither will Acronis (regardless of the version).

Yes I can see it in explorer. Did the pics I post help any? I would like to get this done please

Since I do not use this version of Acronis, it did not help me. Did you read the post above, as it describes a user having to add the drive to acronis.

I noticed that you mentioned that you only see your laptop hdd. I assume you have the avic connectec via USB? Could this be causing a problem with your version of Acronis?

Would you have the install file of the older software.

Yes, but it is a paid application, and I will not distribute it. Check the torrent sites and I bet you can find an older version...

Garrett, how about the new version of 2010 maps out now - version 10.01.0030 released October 2010. It says in order to work on a Z3 you need to also download the Z3 firmware update. If we have a Z2 (upgraded to Z3), how do we go about getting this latest update - Pioneer website link

According to pioneer: "*IMPORTANT: AVIC-Z3 units need a Firmware Update (Version 3.100400) to use this CDDB Gracenote database update. Before proceeding, please read and install the AVIC-Z3 Firmware Update located ".

If you installed the 2010 image on your Z1, Z2, or Z3, then you already have Version: 05.0000, which includes all previous firmware fixes. Ver 5 (2010) is newer than Ver3 (2008).

You can burn the gracenotes disc and upgrade your Z1, Z2, Z3 if you have already installed 2009 or 2010 image.

Can I simply copy the files/directories from the Gracenote update directly to my HD while I have it out and am upgrading to the 2010 maps? Do I have to follow Pioneers official gracenote update process?

You will not be able to disable the hdd security using MHDD with a laptop and USB. If you drive has already had the security disabled, then you should be able to do the upgrade.

Limewire is down. I would really appreciate a usenet or RapidShare post of the 2010 map image. Thanks!

Posted Nov 03, 2010 · 21:08 UTC#72

Why not torrent?

Posted Nov 03, 2010 · 21:42 UTC#73

People who still use Limewire these days wouldn't be able to figure out torrents, even though it's the simplest thing ever.

Posted Nov 25, 2010 · 20:55 UTC#74

Has anybody uploaded this to a newsgroup?
