i do appreciate everything Shortfuse.

But ive come to the conclusion that 1.001 can not be updated to verision 2.0 and so forth. ive done every step correct 10 times.. on 3 different types on sd cards.... some times it would ask for a password and i entered the ones that ive seen on here aka "PASSWORDPASSWORD" then few times i got it to say update failed and have it repeat the process update failed until press eject. and then some times it would just play the wav sounds when i got the 1.001 from pioneer and then used your upgrade unlocker.... the BT was easy to install and upgrade that was no problem at all to 3.11. .....any ideas whats goin on for z11 vert to z12 for me "1.001?

NEVER MIND got it finally to work.. this system has a mind of its own it wants to work and read then some times it doesnt want to sigh....

I never pair that way. I always select "Register from mobile phone". Then that menu option doesn't matter. I don't know why they even bothered with it when there are 100's of phones out there. Maybe those phones are exceptions that require special settings to work.

ya i got ya.. it is a pain in the ass to pair as well with phones. on the z11.. also here is my final Upgrade progress.. im happy now

all updates passed 3.00- or 3.001

Can anyone with CNSD-110FM already, hop on the torrent and seed it? Getting from just one seed at 1.4kB/sec will take a month

Yes, CNSD-110FM is the 2010 upgrade (Z110 to z120) and has the 2010 maps. CNSD-210FM is the Z1x0 - Z130 upgrade and has the current maps (until the Z140 comes out).

Not sure what you're asking. The file "doesn't work"???? or no one is seeding & you can't D/L it??? If it doesn't work, keep trying - read this thread.

upgraded z110bt from 1.000 to the z120 update per the initial thread no problem. thanks for this thread! (make sure the vehicle is running at some point or else battery will drain before completion)

Did you install 1.003 (Shortfuse hack) first?

ok, im kinda freaking out. i went ahead and did shortfuse crack, then i followed the steps of the upgrade to 110fm but instead i used the 210fm upgrade. the upgrade was going great until it reached 98% and then rebooted and said invalid sd card insert correct sd card. so far ive tried to reformat sd card and put the 210fm upgrade and it says upgrade failed retry, but nothing happens when i press it. i was also able to boot into testmode but i doesnt give me an option to copy user to sd to backup. any suggestions much appreciated

The topic of this thread is updating the z110 to z120, so I am assuming that is the update you are asking about (not the Z1x0 > z130), which is available from Pioneer but has not yet been posted. Yes, this will update the maps of your Z110 to 2010 maps. No, the map pack is not available separately.

i've been working on this for several hours and no success with 1.003 only getting 1.001. should I have done the pioneer 1.001 update first?

Sounds like you don't have the right files (or they aren't in the right place. You need to extract Pioneer's 1.001 and replace the files that are contained in the ShortFuse 1.003 hack. These files must over-write the exiting files. So make sure you put them in the right folder.

See the instructions in the earlier posts. Make sure that the patched folder AVICZ110 is in the root of your SD. Nothing else (just to be safe).
