Does anyone know if I can just apply Diaftia mod over top of abbs mod?

You can as long as you delete the apl2/user/userdata/Igo/save folder.

I've installed this mod on top of a fresh FX 3.1 install (I am using an EU unit), however I am having two issues:

The voice guidance doesn't work - I've verified that the "Samantha" voice is there.

Secondly: I've disabled the key beeps and it seems to work for the most menus, but not all.

Can someone help me?

I had a similar issue as well on my F900bt unit....this is something to do with the missing part of voice files.....however yesterday or day before, by chance I selected a voice guidance file called 'UK Philipia' or something and it worked perfectly fine....so try all voice guidance files one by one and you will see few of them will work and few wont.....& when you click a file, you will either hear a sample sound or nothing....where you listen something, just use that file !

I had experienced the same issue with the voices not working; after trying the original sys.txt from FX3.1 the voices started working. If you have a NA avic you will not have UK Philippa as an option (too bad, I am tired of listening to Samantha).

I know what you mean regarding muting the key beeps, I am having the same issue. The most annoying is the beeping while turning the volume up or down via the steering wheel controls. It would be nice to eliminate, does anyone have any idea how?

i could be wrong but i think there wasn't any beep, when i used Chuck88's mod !

sd card question f910bt .... in the manual is written that the maximum size of an SD card can only be 8 gig ... I popped in a 16 gig and it seems to be working fine .... anyone else try using a larger SD card ?

Thx ryar. I think I read somewhere that you can delete a file called "beep.wav" haven't had time to try out tho. I'll try the older "sys.txt"

I have this mod installed with the 4.001 firmware and the voice guidance works so far....haven't tested it a lot though and it appears that the freeway signs aren't showing up (I'm talking the green freeway signs, not the interstate labels they are present)....I'll test somemore to confirm this

Update: I am seeing freeway signs, but not in as many locations as before.  What I am missing completely is the speed/redlight cams that I had before 4.001.  I have also changed from TA maps to NavTeq because I couldn't find any TA maps later than 2010.  Curious, could the change of maps affect the cams??

First no speedcamara's in Europe? I live in holland but i dont get warned at all. And YES i have them active and warnings on and nonmuted etc etc.

And how can i put 2012 Maps on it? Because if i put the maps in the map folder and delete the old ones. the unit won't boot anymore?!

Hi, I have an F50BT and I am trying to copy my Nand folder over to my sd card using testmode. I have managed to copy all files in Nand except the system folder. Hw can I copy these, I presume it is not copying because it is being used somewhere. Can someone please help me?

Let me say that i am brand new to the avid f700 and brand new to these forums. I started off with a bricked f700 and with much searching for files as well as information on these forums what i have ended up with is an f700 running 4.01 firmware with this mod on top and it works flawlessly so far. I know its been years since this thread started but your work is still helping people.

Hi after running Primo 2.4 in Test mode, Navi and System settings grayed out, cannot input address.  (F900BT EU)

How can I Reset to factory, I Have My Flash Disk backup, but it does not help.

I Also Deleted USER folder hoping to get factory settings, does not help...
