The only thing you need is a supertestmode file, which is located here - www.mybyteideas.com/x9310bt/

Then do a text dump from the corresponding file:

file manager -> User -> system -> security -> password

after i put the avic411 password it asks me for the hackmode password. can somebody please tell me what it is

Tried to unlock the zipped file with the avic411, but there is another password required for PRG.FLG and that password doesn't work.

some one out there?!? the avic411 password will only unlock the zip files once and then asks for another password again and won't unzip.

Ok, I have "Hack Mode" working and I can locate the password.dat file...    how do I "do a text dump" of the file?

i got it to work, its showed me what the password is, but it will not let me put the password in, the keyboard is grey'd out and unresponsive

If you don't have the parking brake bypassed, try setting it.

Set your parking brake.

do you mean if i put the wire to the ground i will unlock the unit then i will can enter the code?

You can not enter the security password unless the headunit detects that the parking brake is set. The sensor must be wired either as instructed in the installation manual, or properly bypassed. Are you saying that the unit is not installed in a vehicle? Makes me wonder how this unit was "liberated".

I instaled for customer an new JVC 2din because he buy this car without radio code ( have this unit for 3 years) then change battery and pioneer stop working - we change the unit and i buy from him this

IM screwed up my avic f840-bt with the hackmode and testmode i was so stupid to remove all folders about the user folder in testmode

the unit now has first the blue screen after that you see a black screen nothing is working anymore also Hackmode is not working anymore and gives a black screen,

im only able to come in TESTMODE does anyone knows how i can fixed it ? or does anyone maybe have a backup of the user folder containing PRG0 PRG1 SETUP, and the rest ?

I really appreciated help i playing already for 5 hours with the unit and not able to fix it
