i have a big problem, i've bricked the av.exe on my f920bt and now it doesn't start

can anyone please help me with this file or with the original back-up folder?

It won't work on your F920BT, only the following:  F500BT, F700BT, F900BT, F90BT, X710BT, and X910BT.

If you didn't flash a new wince image from the service menu simply revert to your backup and you should be ok. 

If you did flash a new wince image find the latest one for your unit and flash that.

Ryar I think I got mine working good with 2013 maps...however in primo the time is off...time is correct in radio and default maps. I can't find setting for it ..I also see no difference between primo or primo2

ryar, thanks again for keeping this unit relevant. Really want to get this OBDII feature running. Do you know if anyone has had success with the ELM327? If not, can you point me to the one you have?

First of all I want to thank you for the great work you did. I wonder if there is a possibilty to out the stock igo maps also on the sd card. Am I right, that it won't work at the moment because there is no run folder in the stock igo folder? I read something like there is a need for at least one map file on the flash drive in the italian forum, but I translated with google because i don't speak Italian and I'm not sure if i understood right.

Moreover i deleted max_memory line to avoid system crashs of the stock nav app, but it didn't change anything. The stock app keeps crashing when it comes to the point to show the map. Have no idea why at the moment.

And last but not least IGo just shows me English as system and audio language, although i copied all the language files back.

At the moment I haven't found a solution for that, would be nice to be able to change everything into German.

But these are peanuts, the job you did is extraordinary.

I have the same problem on my F700BT , when I press map button unit restars

I don't know why it is crashing, maybe the settings need to be adjusted rather than deleted or it holds it's last value.  Last I checked increasing the values stopped unwanted behavior; playing with this helped me find the lowest possible memory usage on the stock igo.  I don't use stock iGo and mapped my buttons so the Map button launches and controls Primo, there is a download in the second post which will allow you to do so.  I even deleted the contents in my iGo/GFX folder to save space so sorry I can't check to see what the issue is.  Memory settings in the sys.txt is the only thing I played with however so it must be the issue.

Edit:  I think I found it, can someone copy this onto their unit and let me know if it still crashes when you press the map button:

First of all I want to say thanks for trying to help us solve this reboot problem.  I have tried your fix from the above post and am sad to report that it didn't change anything on my unit.  Please be advised that I am using your flashdisk copy of Avicnet, not the original, and have made no changes to the memory settings.  Thanks again for your efforts!

I grabbed some files off my test unit right before it bit the dust and tried them and now it is working.  I think it was a corrupt file or something, sorry about that.  Anyways, I re-upped on the 2nd page of this thread.  If you don't want to copy the whole thing just copy and overwrite everything from the my flash disk/apl2/iGo folder except the content folder onto your unit if you used the 14/04/05 release.

Great job ryar.....works like a champ....thanks so much for sticking with us!  I prefer the stock iGo when I'm driving locally but use Primo when I'm traveling.  Your efforts made that possible!  My hat's off to you!

Thanks Ryar for your help. Just came back from a holiday trip and will try to update tomorrow. Moreover found out that you have to copy apps you want to start into a your storage device/apl#/appname folder or it won't find the apps. Did so and running Igo from the sd card.

# is determined by the path on the flash disk.

appname by the name of the folder on the flash disk.

For my unit (f900bt euro) Primo had to be in the folder storage card/apl2/primo3. 

I used german language from the italian avocet, works fine, but not everything is translated. I use current maps can be found on the links given on the second page of the thread.

Furthermore I am looking for a compatible bt dongle. Any suggestions?

Also bought a elm327 bt module. (read all posts first order later, is something I would recommend ) but i m not sure if it turns off so i will probably order the usb version also, cuz it's less than 20 € on amazon.

Next thing is to connect an active usb 2.0 hub so i can connect more than a storage device at once. Also got an huawei e220 here which will be the next to be connected if the usb hub is working.

Ryar big thx for your great job, but I would like to report some problems with new update.

First is TMC and it is not new problem, changes in ini file with ports number for msdn and tmc funcions doesn't solve it. Stock iGo is still not receiving TMC messages (in Poland) Still frequency scans but nothing is found. In Primo TMC is working only if ezrider process is killed before runnig primo. Maybe it is possible to divide the port with TMC as in the case of GPS? You do not need to kill ezrider.

Second problem is internet and modem menager. I use huawei e1550 modem, i setup everything and it is conneted. When i try to open opera mini, i have info to check network settings, so I use modem menager to check my APN, but My settings are not saved. As I wrote the modem is conneted, i don't know what is wrong.

If some of you could help I'll be very grateful

New update looks good, but is it for F700BT devices ? On my unit after udate, bluetooth stop working, any idea?

its not that the links are dead, its that they are unreachable from the US. I used a proxy last time I DL'd them but the speeds were horrid.

would be nice if someone uploaded them to a US friendly site.

i am on the older version that somone posted on page 2, but have been having issues. no gps grabs a lock even though 10 satilites are shown. also the settings menus are not avail until i go into primo 2 (the fartehst to the right on the navi menu) then the Avic symbol has the reset text.

also no bluetooth, & no regular system menu...

& been having constant reboots...

I want to get a stable copy, that way i can add my changes for hobdrive & WolfNCU (i got that working now ) 

any good fix for primo2 gps searching for sats? it works fine if I stop the vehicle and reboot they system

Sorry but also in europe are the multiupload links down. I only get a client to download.....iLivid download manager, but after then nothing more.

Please help me to get the right link so that I can try this on my F910BT to install because I am getting really sick of the Igo default navigation.

Ryar, please post to a better / more accessible file server...alot of users in cannot access these

It looks like multiupload is down, I will re-up on mega.  Just one small change, with the "map button launches primo" option a long press on menu will take you to hobdrive from the AV screen where as it would not before.

Edit:  Upload failed after several attempts in mega.  Someone want to suggest another upload site?

i am able to hit the MEga site, & put the code in to decrypt,but then it errors out & says retrying
