i want to downgrade   F310BT TO 1.0004 os , i need a backup , anyone have  ? is possible  ?

what do you need exactly? everything on my flash disks 1 and 2? and can you please tell me why do you want to downgrade? are there some issues with 2.0 firmware? write your email address and i will put it on mail, i think it's easier.

Posted in the wrong thread earlier. My unit is still bricked. I'm willing to jtag or try things to recover this unit to working condition again. Took it apart and took pictures. jtag ideas pionara? Hopefully pictures can help determine what we need to jtag this thing...

I have been following instructions and I have managed to get my F320BT in to test mode but I have no idea how to copy files from the sd to My Flash Disk. 

How do you do it? I have managed to drag and drop to back up to SD but that's about it. I have no ability to select cut/copy/paste.

Hi, does the u310bt need to be plugged into the car for gps/bluetooth to function? I did the mod and have iGO working but don't have access to the car right now (updating the GPS for a friend). Bluetooth option is greyed out and iGO can't detect a GPS.

Spent more time playing with the GPS this morning...the stock nav is definitely borked. iGO8 though is absolutely perfect and I'd be happy to use it all the time, but overlays don't really work with it and it resets to the now broken nav with every restart of my car. I don't mind how things are now but only if the stock nav worked properly...Can anyone help?

 

Edit: I tried to reflash the image from the first post here to see if I can get back to a starting point that works but no go...I guess the system simply won't reflash to an image with the same ID. My guess is that the registry concerning the comport for the GPS is messed up but that is strictly a guess...

 

Does anyone else have this issue? If I can't solve it, I can live with how things are but I sure would like to have overlays working properly with iGO8 at the least...Any help is appreciated! :/

Disable port satelit on Igo8 and restart the  interface. For me its works.

Pionara, you are great. I did it sucessfully. I updated my avic F310BT following your steps. I'm already with the version 2.0001

I replaced the Appslib.dll, with patched one.

The only thing I couldn't understand is from where to take AVIC-APPS folder to place it in the SD card.

I ve got f320bt, I managed to run TESTMODE, but i dont know now how to run IGo8  ( can be also in testmode  - it doesnt matter to me as long as it works well ).

i ran iGo8.3 on my f320bt with 1.0 version but i can hardly hear something.

Can somebody upload the good version of iGO with good sys.txt file ?

Or maybe the whole SD Card - it will be ok , also

Does anyoane have a backup of "My Flash Disk2", from a F310BT.
I tried to update from here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/37393-2013-eu-map-update-cracking/?p=271088, and got stuck at 98%.

Now, "My Flash Disk2" is empty and maps are missing.

If I use the 2.0101  App, the phone menu is grayed out, and can't use the BT.

What you are doing here is putting the VDD pin of the flash chip, to ground.

Mine is not getting working with this method...

yes, but you can try to put correct winceimg.bin and winceimg.cks on root of sdcard... it just doesnt seem to want to pick them up - unsure why... i cant really find the bootloader code for this unit... doesnt seem to use uboot like other avics..

I do suspect that there is some magic file or soemting you can put on sd card that will let it do flash recovery, but i dont know what it is...

 

what is nand flash method? im only aware of the aplupdate utility to get it into flashing mode, and that requires you to be able to boot into testmode. testmode should boot even if My Flash disk is toasted... there is a hidden smflash partition with the os on it... still, how to get it to boot?

I have another u310bt PND unit here that is in the same state... so far I have been too lazy to hook up jtag...

Do you have by any chance the jtag pinout of this device?
