Here's a pic for reference of the mod that it actually works if done correctly.

Whether anybody has WINCEIMG.bin and WINCEIMG.CKS for AVIC F320bt?

Posted Apr 12, 2013 · 19:50 UTC#179

Dear pionara,

do you have any minds about this issue:

I'm so tired to launch IGO again and again after any restart of my car

same here :(

Posted Apr 25, 2013 · 18:52 UTC#180

Hi guys, I have a F320BT on wich i run IGO Primo 2.3 and tcpmp.

I have stumbled on the same problem of the software crashing after any hibernation of the navigation module.

I've made some experiments and what i can tel for certain :

- If i run into testmode : I have no blue tooth, the sound is very low, the backlight is is very low, the device resume from hibernation without crashing (desktop or igo or tcpmp)

- if i run into HMIManager mode (direct execution or via app.dat in applib) : I have blue tooth, the sound is correct, the backlight is correct, the device crash anytime it gets out of hibernation (desktop or igo or tcpmp)

Furthermode running in HMIMode causes problems to IGO and most notably it prevents the use of TTS voices (in Testmode the TTS voices runs ok).

My conclusion : Having the HMIManager to run in background is required but its so shitcoded that it prevents other applications to run well.

Things i tried and kind of like : Start the desktop in HMIMode, then i have all the unit fonctionnality set and run anything i want, and for IGO i removed all maps and pois of other countrys and it start alot faster.

I read in this thread that some different version of AppsLib.dll may fix the resume from hibernation crash, i know i have 2 versions of it gonna try each.

Reminder to myself : never ever again buy pioneer...

Posted Apr 25, 2013 · 19:39 UTC#181

Ok as stated at the first post i tryed the second version of the appslib.dll and it seems to have fixed the hibernation urn back crash (as stated too in the related thread i have replaced all the .pwd files by one version that was generated by avic feeds (the clock one)).

the lik to the F320 BT apslib.dll for the lazy ones [http://avic411.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=14921]

On my desk out of hibernation crash no more with igo primo 2.3 -> big kiss guys!

Rest to do some test ride on the car...

Edit...

I have managed to get TTS working:

- Looks like nuance V5 sucks up too much memory to run with HMIManager

- so i installed a loqueno TTS for my language and get it working with theese sys.txt settings :

[debug]

max_memory=67108864 ; ~64Mo ; maximum amount of memory alloted to Primo
reserve_memory=3145728 ;1835008 = ~1.75Mo ;reserve bytes for "other applications".
cache=2097152 ; 2048 setting it any higher does not cause any discernible improvement in Primo

Once HMIManager+IGO 2.3+TTS in flight i have zero RAM memory left.

I have not used setmem.exe (looks like its only usefull for Win CE 4.2 and below).

Hi,gays!

I tried to install MioPocket in my Pioneer F310 BT.
I copied mio pocket files, as i changed in
Storage Card MioAutoRun.exe to ActiveSync (i dont need it ) and
MioAutoRun.mscr to
ActiveSync.mscr but after I pressed the icon "More
Scrip Launcher" appeared "MioPocket not found Directory: :\Storage
Card\MioAutoRun" is missing.
Has somebody already run MioPocket successfully on Pioneer device?

Pionara I do not know if you understand me, I'm Polish and I can little English but ok translator will do the trick

so you have to open the cap for the main board face AVIC where hidden flash drive, next to her on the right are tiny capacitors and this is important! give kabelkowi mass of the USB connector, and so on up the capacitor short-circuit making slight spark screen goes suddenly showed PIONEER and began to load up all the maps are

I bought my F320BT from ebay with no SD card. I've managed to install iGo 8 on a new card and everyhting is ok, but I still have 2 questions:

1. How can I play movies? I believe I have to install an app for that but from where can I download that app?

2. Is it possible to use iGO without restarting the device?

Posted Oct 11, 2013 · 19:32 UTC#191

Hi there, I bought an F320bt few weeks ago, managed to instal igo8 and custom apps using another tutorial. The igo8 works fine but the video player is horrible (it frames a lot, the videos don't play smooth and the volume is horrible to control). Any ideas?

Hello, I have Pioneer AVIC - F310BT, the map on it is 2009. There is some map update with card like on F930BT or F920BT?

Can you direct me to correct direction?

Thank you very much!

hello

I am a newby and I've got avic f320bt version 1 000000

I updated my Bluetooth version to 3.3 and it seems it is not compatible. Can I downgrade to earlier version. If yes where can I get it. Thanks a million for the help.

Hey guys, looks like this thread is dead but I'm hoping pionara (or anyone really) can provide some insight. I've got Igo 8.3 running on my AVIC U310BT unit nearly flawlessly. I followed the instructions as best I could but I'm having two small issues.

1.Getting an error randomly while driving around, "Failed to open file msnd_poi.spr exiting application". I have the 2013 US maps and 2013 POI's so I'm not sure what this file does, why its calling for it, and why it's erroring out.

2.Right now I'm just lauching my GPS and going to Applications, and choosing IGO8 from the menu, I'm not sure if anyone can help me find igolauncher (as far as i can tell its not online anywhere at this point), or if there is some trick to make it boot straight to IGO8 from the point I turn on the car with the regular AVIC OS running behind it so I can still use my bluetooth. As of right now the AVIC OS is running behind it and I can take bluetooth calls, etc but I have to manually start IGO8 each time the car turns off. Not the end of the world but not quite perfect.

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it!

Hi guys. I own a F310BT with 1.0004 OS version. I didn't try to update the firmware because i'm able to run igo from testmode and i was afraid not to brick my device by doing something wrong. The only thing is that when i run igo 8 from test mode the sound is very low, like it doesn't use the player's amplifier. I can only hear the guidance voice when the music is off and if i listen very carefully. Does anybody know how to fix this?
