Adrian Santiago,
try and check the "tv out" setting (on the iphone) when it's connected to the appradio.
I had the same issue with Carmediaplayer. after setting the option "full screen" (or wide screen, not 100% sure) to "on", it displayed as it should.
I will check this and let you know if it worked for me, thanks...
Hi there, first of all hats off to you Mike, and it seems like you are the one able to give it true utility.
I have the appradio on my truck now for just under a week now , in which I've being researching as well (i thought of returning it, because it was so boring and snnoying...)but then I came across you watching 'DavePioneer' YouTube video. I did the jailbrake on my 4S, which has the iOS 6.1.2, as on the video, but different then in there, my phone does not show 'TV out' option on supported apps. Am I missing something here? Thank you.
I have an iPhone 4s w iOS 5.1.1
In Cydia the app radio extension that says is installed is 2.0.1-1
On my device
Everything seems to work ok once in a while I experience glitches like when I plug my phone in to the radio sometimes I manually have to open app radio app
Also once in a while the complete screen shrinks
But other then that it works great !!
I'm wondering if I should upgrade to iOS 6 ???
And also should I upgrade or try another version of app radio extensions ?????
I'm going to downgrade my iPhone from 6.1.2 to 5.1.1 and give it a try, I can do without IOS6 features if I can gain the AppRadio touch and other cool items... well at least until we get back up to speed.

If you have a Iphone 4 (with the Blobs) then you can downgrade. But if you have a Iphone 4S like i do, then your stuck on IOS 6.1.2... There is no downgrade trick for Iphone 4S....

Nobody?....
Uninstall AppEx and reinstall.
I've done that a couple of times.... I see the apps on the appradio screen but when I tap on it, the screen stays on that warning message or goes to black...., I can't access ont the pioneer... I don't know much, but I posted this to get tips from you, if its software or hardware, the bypass maybe?... But it doesn't work even when in 'park'. App conflict?... I really wanted to get this up and running! Any suggestions? Tank youUninstall AppEx and reinstall.

Try to answer the following questions:
1) Did you precicely follow the first page instructions?
2) Before you connect iphone did you open the AppRadio application from your iphone?
3) Did you see the AppRadio Extensions options is the settings of iphone?

That is an old version in the video. The 'TV Out' section was renamed to 'Unsupported Apps'. The iOS 6 version also requires the parking brake bypass to view apps.
Appradio 2.1.0 is out, should we update or not??
Everything appears to work fine with AppRadio 2.1.0 with i5 6.1.2 and the latest version of AppEx.
Iphone 4s 6.1.2
Appradio firmware 4.16
Appradio app 2.1.0
Cydia 1.1.8
AppEx 2.0.1-1
It crashes and enters in safe mode, on my device
Cydia as devoloper(of course)
Iphone 4s 6.1.2
Appradio firmware 4.16
Appradio app 2.1.0
Cydia 1.1.8
AppEx 2.0.1-1
It crashes and enters in safe mode, on my device
Check out the first post. The Cydia version of AppEx doesn't work on iOS 6.
Yes i know i'm not complaining, i was just answering to vblue 42. Chapeau to you mike, great job, i'm going to paypal you as soon as it will available for ios6. Thanks in advance
Have you given any thought of putting this software (complete package) on the official apple store so jailbreak wouldn't be necessary? I wonder why pioneer didn't do this themselves. Also is there anyway to add a toggle to stretch apps to fill the whole screen?
I have a unlocked jailbroken iPhone 4 IOS 6.1.2, I also have the pioneer appradio 2 ver 2.1.0 and have appextensions 2.0.1-42 . I have installed siri onto my phone but can't see siri on my appradio nor can i control most apps. Any help with this would be great. I want to voice get and reply if possible.. thanks in advance
Dont want to double post but hoping to get some answers here. I really need to know if i need to upgrade to iPhone 4s to get the siri button or if i csn use my iPhone 4 jailbroken

A few post above states APPEX is not compatible with 6.1.2.... it is even in the first post as stated above as well..... You can get other apps to appear on the headunit but you will not be able to use the touch function from your headunit....
The developer who made Accelerate is updating backgrounder, just received a conformation email from him today. Quasar is almost done also.
any news about the dev thats updating backgrounder ??? whats the status of the update ?
can someone please give me a working configuration for my devices:
iPod 4G with iOS5
Appradio 2 with firmware 8.17
i have already tried newest appradioextensions from cydia with appradio version 1.8.2 and also with the newer versions. unsupported apps still do not work
please help me
Your right it ddoes say that it is not compatible. What i want to know is do i need a 4s to get siri to work with appradio or will it work with my jailbroken 4?
I think there's a setting that lets you turn Siri on and off in app radio extensions settings under settings in your iPhone
