Unsupported apps show up on AppRadio 2 and does open, but will not allow gestures on the head unit, only on the iPhone.  Any solutions?

AppRadio Extensions v2.0.1-42

iPhone 4 v6.1.3 (jailbroken)

Gestures and scrolling in lists don't work properly yet. It's somewhat limited to single taps for now. On the todo list.

It's anyone with an iPhone 4S having the problem with iOS killing the appradio app after like 30 seconds of being inactive or is this a problem with iPhone 4 users only?

It seems like a mixture of devices having the problem. If it crashes only after 30 seconds of inactivity, it sounds more like something is wrong with the dimming/sleeping. If you actively use the app, does it last longer than 30 seconds?

Mike can I download this file on iPhone an open it in ifile?

I have my auto lock set to off I wonder if I can get over 30 secs of app time.

iPhone 5

Yes.

I did notice that my code that prevents the device from dimming/sleeping isn't working properly on iOS 6. Maybe it's related.

I have no issue at all but i have insomnia and infinity task dont know if thats making a difference.  But used an app for like 20 min with no problem.  also have UIBackgroundModes in plist.  Works great.

Does any body know how to add apps to sbrotator to turn on or off or then the ones that are already there.

Mike thanks for the iPad in my car.

I don't have insomnia or infinity task installed and it's working for me. When you say you used the app, do you mean actively touched the screen or let it sit there without activity?

Is anyone who had an iPhone 5 able to get Spotify to work? The app will open but when I touch the screen it shuts down the app

Posted Apr 19, 2013 · 02:56 UTC#1178

It does that with almost every app.

Thanks for the quick reply to my question Mike. I cant wait for u to fix those non gesture bugs for 6.1.3 users. Donation will be forthcoming. Cheers.

Mike you r getting close

I can open a app by touching app but if I touch app after its open it will say use a supported app and close app right after that

but it made net flix easy to use as long as I control it with phone but I can open it with radio

I have the 8500 and a Iphone 5

siri button seems to work

I was so ready to give the new angry birds a go. I got that app just so I could show my friends it playing on the screen

With the iPhone 5 I'm getting touch control of unsupported apps (the calculator) for about 5 seconds and then the AppRadio App restarts on the phone and the "Hello iPhone 5" message is redisplayed on the head unit.

Also, the touch calibration is way off during those 5 seconds of touch control of calculator.

Ok, I now realize that this issue is listed on the first page.

gMusic and Aupeo! were updated in the App Store today. gMusic works a little better with iPhone 5 but still has a few issues.

Do app extensions work on any pioneer in app radio mode? Or specifically the app radio only? If it does not, is it possible for a porting of the software in the future?

Everything working fine for me iOS 6.1 iPhone 4S.

Hi Mike,

iPhone 5 user here. I've had no problems with unsupported apps staying open, but I have had the app crashing issues. When I open an unsupported app, 1 of 3 things will happen:

1) It will let me use touch controls for a few seconds (but in the wrong place as others have mentioned) before crashing the app and bringing me back to the 'Hello Luke's iPhone' screen

2) The first touch of the unsupported app crashes the app as above

3) Either the first touch or a few touches causes the radio to go into mirroring mode (with the red finger, so no touch controls)

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which of the above will happen! Hope that's helpful!

One more thing - the app radio app doesn't seem to be able to remember the order of my apps if I rearrange them on the app radio screen - is there a way to make the order stay?

Is appradio 1.8.2 compatible with firmware 4.16 Euro version ?
