AppEx requires other installed apps that you can only get with a jailbroken iPhone. Also if you are iOS7 AppEx doesn't work anyway.

That's not the beta you've installed that's just an older version of pioneers app. you should just be able to download the latest version of that from the app store and it should work with the extensions app (from cydia mikes repo).

I have couple of questions,

1)I can see that app radio extensions says it is compatible with appradio 2 but has any one tried it with appradio 3?

2) when i connect my ipod touch with appradio, it asks for permission to allow to launch appradio app. can this be bypassed so i don't have to keep taking out my ipod from dashboard?

Thanks for reply. I have installed appex from cydia. But i cant find appex settings in ipod settings. On cydia it's showing that I have installed appex. The only thing I can think is that dependencies called mobilesubstrate is not there for me in cydia. Rest are there. I'm running 6.1.6 ios.

If there at no AppEx setting then yes, you have a problem. Mobile Substrate is required for pretty much any Cydia app.

To my knowledge Cydia Substrate is iOS7 only. You said you were running iOS6 so you should have Mobile Substrate installed. Other then that I don't know what to tell you. Try PMing the developer.
