I'm not seeing the left guidance window about half the time, when a turn needs to be made, it's just blank. Also, my antenna seems to be missing. I'm wondering if I got a bad download. Am downloading now and could use some seeders if possible. Looks like a week to download.

Reloading the update gave back the left hand turn windows. Thanks again to the seeders.
However, the antenna still doesn't work. So I'm going to pull the unit and check to see if road vibration pulled the connection loose.
Somewhere I've read that GPS antennas have a built in amplifier. I've never had a problem with an antenna that wasn't caused by my accidental bending and breaking. Do GPS antennas usually go bad?

Early in the forum is a post about Newsgroup/usegroup... if you have access this is the way to go! it's server based and is a LOT faster than torrent (when not seeded very well).

does anyone know if there are any truly free newsgroups that we can download from using the nzb file? I've tried using some "free" ones that google finds, but they all give a 480 error for no authentication...

Fyi -was unable to get Acronis v10 to work on win 7 even after trying hack from link someone posted. Ended up finding version 13 and using that to do everything.

I'm downloading now at 188kB/s with two seeders. Utorrent says it should be done in 10 hours. I'll leave it up for a couple weeks but if you're not getting any seeds, my PC might be offline. Just drop me a PM and I'll get a notification on my cell.
Installation was flawless using Acronis True Image Home 2011 and Win7 x64. Did anyone notice that the Pioneer splash screen just says Pioneer now and does not include the year of the maps, copyright info, etc.? I'm sure the maps are newer, I guess I was just expecting to see TomTom 2012 on there. No biggie.
I removed the text. If you want to add it back, you just need to rename one file in LDAT/BG/COPYRIGHT
Rename CPYDEFAULT.bmp.temp to CPYDEFAULT.bmp (removing .temp)
I don't really care to have it show up on the splash screen I was just curious why it was not there this time. I mounted the HDD image and found the file you were referring to. I gotta admit, I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I saw 2012 TomTom. Thanks garrettoomey!
