coolin - what model do you have, what is your current version of software. somebody w/ z130 mentioned he needed to use a different cardinfo.cif in another thread.
the key to getting help is providing enough details so folks can help

I have the z130 ver 3.000. I am using the correct cardinfo.cif. I have also downloaded update 3.001 from the pioneer site put the files on a sd card and thats not working either. Ive tried formatting the card using Ntfs, Fat16 and fat32 nothing is working for me. I was able to boot to test mode using condis hackmode no problem. Oh and i do have the wiring harness bypassed
did you try the one from http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35230-2012-uscan-maps-cnsd-310fmuc-upgrade/#entry255690
Yes and i have tried downloading CNSD-210FM and using the file in included
Use the Cardinfo.cif posted by Rgarjr if you have the z series.. Should be post number 12.
Hmm did you delete the testmode.key from the SD card?
Testmode.key is on a seperate card. Im giving up for tonight. Will try again tomorrow. Thanks fot the help fellas
I have the z110bt with the z130 update from last year
I see, so what have u done so far?
I replace the file from the ones you patched into sheka z140 files and put it into the sd and I go to update and it telling me the password thing...
and my platform version shows 3.000
Have u went into testmode and replaced your RenewalIFLib.dll file with the patched one?
Location where u want the patched file pasted :
\USER\PRG0\APL\RenewalIFLib.dll
\USER\PRG1\APL\RenewalIFLib.dll
whats testmode im confused with that?
I replace .dll file on the card with yours and what password is suppose to work?
I don't see this file there... USER\PRG1
testmode is way of having access to the files inside your AVIC. You insert an SD card containing the testmode files and it will special boot the AVIC and let you see the files, u can delete, copy, and paste. It's kind of like Windows Explorer.
Jason has a good video on youtube that shows this.
thank you for that understanding...
I don't see this file there... USER\PRG1

U mean on the SD card or inside your AVIC?
the sd card
I think you are missing the step where u have to boot in testmode and delete the Renewal.dll file and paste the patched one.
Yea thats what I need to do I was confused thanks for that video it helped out and yours as well I appreciate it
So i updated my z110 i had the error with the incorrect sd card at 98% but i just used a different sd card and it worked just fine. My z110 was updated to version 3.0 before doing this update.
