I have found newer maps last night TA 2012 Q2. I installed Firmware version 4 on my unit with the Windows CE upgrade and those Q2 maps. The unit feels a lot snappier and my speedcams and POI's are working again

Will post later this week.I still need a Dutch sys.txt because the navigation part of my AVIC is now in English.

yesterday I installed again the 4.01 of Encrypt3d, with your maps, my buildings, Robser's radars... everything is working fine, including TMC, but I am only able to use the Phillipa UK voice. I put several Spanish voices on the Voice folder but don't seem to work...

Is there something else I have to do besides adding the voice zips into the voice folder??? I am getting tired of trying different things and noone works!!

Btw, there is another thing I would like to know. When I tick Speed Warning alarms, depending on what installation I have done, sometimes I can see a menu that it says "SIMPLE, APPROACHING, DISCONNECTED", and sometimes the same menu shows "ONLY IF OVERSPEEDING, APPROACHING, DISCONNECTED".

Does anyone knows what file is responsible for this??? I would like to select "ONLY IF OVERSPEEDING", and unfortunately, it is showing right now "SIMPLE"...

I finally changed one of the spanish.zip files in the voice folder and voila! works! Now I can get directions in Spanish...

Regarding the Warnings of Speedcams, it depending on the day, sometimes shows "simple", sometimes shows "only if overspeeding"... that is really weird! How it can happen that without changing any file, the speedcams options change?? I am really surprised...

Just read your posts above. When you said you got your TMC working? did you mean you can use both Blouetooth and TMC (traffic ifno) at same time. Because I can only get one thing working. If i use "UC" command in sys.txt then bluetooth works but TMC don't. However when I select EW, then TMC works not bluetooth.

If you still couldn't extract the file, use 7-zip because Winrar or Winzip wont work with it as I had the same issue and only 7-zip worked.

My sister bought used car with AVIC-HD3. Problem is that she doesn't have slovenian maps and also others are quite old. I am wondering if this TomTom release would work and what updates would i need?

Yesterday i succesfully unlocked disk but problem is that i have no proper maps and *fdl files are not suitable for that firmware.

Help appreciated.

Problem with CNDV -1100HD is that it doesn't have maps for Slovenia. There are only 26 other European countries. Any other possible solution?

I did everything in the guide, but still no luck. Tried deleting unneeded voices and other stuff, but it still complains about insufficient storage space when copying your maps to iGo/Content folder. What am i doing wrong? my unit is a F900bt

• kimln, probably, you are not deleting the previous maps before you add the new ones. The Flash disk does not have enough spare capacity to copy and replace within its own memory. You have to delete before all your maps and then copy at the Igo/map folder the new content.

I did that... Deleted Maps and poi folders, as the guide says, and then copyed the new maps and poi, but it still says "not enough disk space". How do you other guys get enough space?

The new maps with poi is over 2 Gigs and the old which i deleted is around 1,5 Gigs. How much internal space, does the F900bt have?

Flash Disk capacity is 2gb... but I have maps, pois, buildings and everything with 1.5gb, don't know what you are putting in your SD!!!

Not in my case... I don't know what you are doing wrong. The size of the flash disk is 2gb, so total amount of data must be 1.5gb, 1.9gb... no more, and that includes LPT1, LPT2 and LPT3 (not just the igo/maps folder).

okay, so if the total size of the flash disk is 2GB, how on earth do you want me to extract the content of the 9 zip files from Bento, to the flash disk, when the extracted files from the 9 zip files, is 2.04GB? Am i freeking stupid, or what is going on here?Even if i delete the MAPS, POI and License folder, whitch i did every time i tried making this work, that will only free up 1.5GB of space, not even close to be enough, to get the 2.04GB from this guide on the flash disk:-P

I too have 2.04 GB when NTQ_2012.Q1 from rapidshare is unpacked with 7-Zip:

ezrider.exe = 5.99MB

POI (folder) = 274MB

MAP (folder) = 1.76GB

LICENSE (folder) = 16KB

On my 900BT flash disk the folders (as found using this guide) are the following:

ezrider.exe = 6.38MB

POI (folder) = 62MB

MAP (folder) = 1.01GB

LICENSE (folder) = 5KB

I am prepared to delete some of the countries to squeeze it on the unit but do i need to? I have a 32GB SD Card but I do not want to run into the same problems as others - can someone confirm how they got this to work? Basically, have I messed up somehow and, if not, will this extra approx 1GB just copy straight across?

I am moving to Germany on monday and really want to get my 900BT updated before I go. Alfonso / Trulf you are the most recent poster who references the 4.01.zip from elsewhere, any idea where i can find a working link for this I would love to emulate your efforts but cannot find it anymore.

And (sorry) can anyone confirm that I am ok to install these maps over:

Map version: 02.000600

Version: 3.021000

Again on a F900BT Europe.

Send me a PM and I will try to send you a copy of my backup 4.01, that's all I can do.

There are a lot of mods here. Make sure you read and understand the basics.

didnt work for me

avic f900bt firmware 3.00 maps 2.00

just hangs on splash screen then reboots

i noticed that the license folder on my unit was in the same as ezrider not sure if thats anything to do with it.

• Go into the iGo/CONTENT folder. On my unit this folder is located in the APL2 folder.
  
• Delete the MAP, POI and LICENSE folders
  
• Copy the MAP, POI and LICENSE folders from the SD card to the flashdrive of your unit
  
• Copy the EZRIDER.EXE to the iGo folder, replacing the file already there
