Well still nothing from Compuplus, I recieved my order from Amazon for the BT200 placed a couple days after the order from Compuplus so I am really disappointed with their shipping time I do alot of online shopping on the weekends and if the item is in stock I have always recieved it before the next weekend but this is not the case with Compuplus. Price is good though so hopefully it will be worth the wait.

 

Once again I will update when/if I recieve my D3 and XM/Nav traffic module from them. In the meantime if you can still get the deal through Crutchfield I would recommend going with them over Compuplus.

Ordered it last Saturday. Well it arrived today, the Avic D3 anyway, the reciept/packing slip inside the box is for the D3 as well as the Xm Nav Traffic module (GEX-P10XMT) except that the only thing I recieved was the D3 no GEX-P10XMT so I guess I will be on the phone with them again tommorow. It seems as if they might have very good prices but the old saying still applies you get what you pay for. At this point I wish I would have just ordered from Crutchfield or even straight through Amazon. Hopefully I haven't ended up paying 900 dollars for just the head unit, I hope by some miracle the GEX-P10XMT shows up in a seperate package in the next couple days but I have a feeling I am in for a big hassle here judging by the consumer ratings compuplus has recieved online.

 

Once again crossing my fingers and will keep everyone updated as to the outcome of this sale.

Keep the faith man, they actually tried calling me twice to verify my phone number before they shipped it. Luckily I answered on the second try, because I usually won't answer my phone if the number isn't familiar to me.

When I placed the order they weren't even there (early in the morning), but my guess is once they got to work they got the ball rolling. I use Paypal and on my profile my home # was out dated. A rep sent me an email for fraud prevention asking for a correct #. I email them back and within 5 mins they called me to update the info on my account. Even with that small delay I received the deck the next day. Fast shipping and great communication.

Sometimes, it pays to pay a little extra, although I did get a good deal from CF. Ordered the D3, XM, bluetooth, and got the rear camera free + 15% off. Did the install myself and found out that the navigation wasn't working right. A few e-mails saying what the problem was and 3 days later, I'm installing a brand new D3 and returning the old one with no extra shipping costs.

I ordered mine from Compuplus on Saturday, got an email Monday requesting me to add my work address to my credit card because I filled the shipping address with my work address. That's a big plus because many other sites don't give you the option to ship to work address. Everything cleared and they shipped out Wed and I received it Friday. Got it in 2 days to Canada....Fedex and Compuplus know their stuff since there were no delays in customs.

FYI - Crutchfield announced the opening of a Canadian site but it is not working yet.

Finally got all the stuff, turns out Compuplus shipped two seperate packages and only gave me one tracking number. I am a bit disappointed in how long it took to get everything but the prices were great and if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks then I can verify that I did eventually recieve everything I ordered. I am going to install this weekend in my '01 Lightning will take some pics to post up when I'm done.

P.S. I did a search but didn't find anything and was wondering if anyone knows if the Reverse and VSS wires were the same on the '01 as they are on the newer f150's? Grey/balck on the radio harness for VSS and pink down in the kickpanel for reverse?

ordered mine late tuesday night. Figured it would process Wed. morning and with the two day shipping get here today. However, when I returned home from being out working i had an email from Thursday requesting I send them the same phone number that is on my bank records. (the same dang number that I had put down 3 times on the order form). So my paying for 2 day shipping seems to have been a waist of money. If it ships today then it should get here Tuesday. ANy later than that and I will not be happy.

Cant really talk abad about Compuplus.. They are covering their asses on the financial side of things. I got my stuff, I got it at a good price. Im not complaining.

I ordered my D3 from Compuplus at 1am Thursday. I figured it would be shipped FedEx and since they deliver on Saturday, I paid for 2 day shipping. I got an email Friday afternoon with the a UPS tracking #. It shows that the package will arrive this Tuesday. That was a waste of the extra $10. Hopefully I won't have any problems with it, since they apparently aren't an authorized dealer(I asked them if they were and they said "we never have any problems with them because they know us pretty well)

I ordered from Compuplus last Tuesday with their standard shipping. Received my stuff on Friday, and had it installed by Saturday. No issues, very satisfied with their service. This is my second D3, and it went even smoother, faster, and cheaper than the first I got from Crutchfield.

For the price they charge, I didn't expect super fast or convenient service, but they surprised me.

I think if I ordered mine on a monday I would have gotten it sometime within that week. I got it though and its in the truck. All is well.

I finally got things worked out with them. I tried calling several times and sent several emails. They called today while i was busy and when I got home I had an email saying it was processed and they would be sending me the tracking info. Hope that 2 day shipping I paid for stands up.
