  6. Pioneer AVIC HACKMODE by Condi Finally we've got full access to new Pioneer units! After many tries, many scripts, I think that its proper state to be released. SO FAR CONFIRMED TO WORK ON: F30BT (tested by me ) X920BT (thanks to Krms!) X930BT (thanks to Ralpharn!) Z110BT with Z120BT firmware (thanks to PatrickFernandes!) F920BT (thanks to Tudor Z!) F20BT (thanks to wikke!) ... !!!!! I'm not responsible of any damage/brick, so all of this you are doing at your own risk. Its working on my unit perfectly, but its not 100% sure that it will work on yours! FO
  7. Interesting, so it DOES have a built in GPS... then what's the point of using an iPhone GPS App?
  8. It's basically app mode with touch screen controls being passed to the iPhone. As far as I know, there is no actual GPS in the unit, it depends on the iPhone to navigate. That may be a big drawback for some.
  9. Yeah, I don't know where to start on this. It's basically just a monitor that passes touch screen commands to an iPhone. I would be much more impressed if it could use the iPhone as a modem and the apps were loaded on the actual headunit. Maybe it's better in person, who knows. I guess I wasn't invited to this event, lol.

  17. Either your unit is not bypassed correctly or your parking break is not connected.
  18. Yep, SLA only effects the current source.
  19. It's Normal. XM tuners usually output a lower volume then other sources. You can fix it by selecting XM as the source, then going into audio settings and increase SLA (Source Level Adjustment).
  20. GPS navigation devices are passive and do not emit a signal of any kind. GPS tracking devices, take the regular (passively obtained) GPS data and transmit it (via a transmitter/transceiver) to it's monitoring service.
  21. lol...no. GPS is passive. GPS Trackers on the other hand are active devices that transmit their GPS location via radio, cellular, or other methods.
