I honestly don't remember how I changed it lol...I did whatever the manual said lol. Only thing I had to do was cut a little lip of plastic off the top and bottom of the opening and it slid right in. They changed the airduct on the 03+ cars, pre 03 you would have to change that peice of duct....a real PITA lol.

Not the one I want, I want the wired version. I have seen them on ebay for around 50 shipped, just wondered if anybody knew of anywhere to get them cheaper.

Yeah its no big deal, just something I noticed, almost like the map cant update as fast as the GPS is sending data.

Has anybody else noticed that they are slightly ahead of where the > is on the screen? Maybe its just my perfectionism coming through but it seems that as the car is in the midle of an intersection the arow is pointing a bit before where the car actually is (i.e. car is further down the road than the >) Maybe because I have the antenna mounted on the back of the car??

Close, Its a remove before flight safety pin from an ejection seat. (What I do to pay for the toys lol)

They said it wouldnt fit my 03 Crown Vic either (It wont fit in Pre 03 Crown Vics or Grand Marguis due a difference in the heater duct) but it fit just fine after cutting off a slight lip on the top and bottom of the cars facia

They use some type of proprietery connector, probably won't be able to find it anywhere. What you could do I suppose is to cut off the conector leaving about a foot of coax on it, then purchase some RG-174 (I think thats what it is) coax, and two each female and male crimp on SMA style connectors and construct your own "extension cord." This would however introduce a good bit of loss into the system due to the frequency at which the GPS signals are at and could lead to more error than just placing the antenna on the dash or locating it somewere else on the outside of the vehicle that would a

On a related note, does anybody know what size image is needed to fill the entire screen on the Z1?

Its a bitch, everything has to be exactly like it says in the manual. I never could get a disc that it would recognize burnt using Roxio on my laptop, I ended up using my ancient desktop with nero and it worked...

If anybody figures this out please let me know! I would love to have the 3d full screen.
