I have an AVIC-D2 now with the GEX-P10XMT. I am aware that the new X-910BT does not do XM nav traffic. That is not my question. My question is will the GEX-P10XMT work witht he new X unit to do XM stations or do i need a different XM receiver?

bump - does the XM unit need to be hooked up to constant power for the headunit to keep memory?

could be the ground, but i wouldnt be suprised if the installer tapped power from someplace he shouldnt have.. like the SMG acuator

well, the speed pulse is intermittent, i worked perfectly with my N2 but now with the D2 it is intermittent. Also, the unit wont learn 3d, it has plently of dots for speed, left and right and the mode says simple hybrid but i want 3d hybrid and a speed pulse that is working so that the nav is more accurate the only mod to the unit is the bypass and the parking brake is grounded

I recently swapped form an N2 to a D2 and i transfered the working speed pulse wire to the new unit. The speed pulse is no intermittent. i checked the wire throughout the car and it is not snagged or cut and it is securely hooded into a proper seed wire. Could the bypass be causing the problem?

the unit rememebrs the angleof the screen but not the presets, but i will check the constant power wire

My battery in my car is a little weak and i think that is the problem but I was just wondering if anyone else had exericed the unit not retiain prests for XM and AM/FM?

Sorry to bump an old thread but i am gettign the disk eror on my D2. i tried to do the force write but all the options say (NG) when i try to select them.. i assume that means NO GOOD, is anyone in the NYC area with a D@ dosc i can try?

So i traded my n2 for a d2 an I thought i could keep my nav discs... I guess I am wrong, which nav disc do I need for my D2? I have CDNV-60M east what do i need will 50MT work?

i got one for you if you want ho does $250 sound?

This problem has been resolved, my brain needed to be replaced it was defective form the factory and was replaced under warranty

downlaod the trial of alcohol 120% rip it as an iso image, then burn it to a Dl dvd it is that easy

if i upgrade my N2 to the CDV-60 software can i use a ndbt-1 bluetooth adaptor with some functionality, i have searched a bit but i cant find any definitive answers, i dobt i will get full functionality but will i at least be able to make and receive calls?

ok... so i ripped an iso image to my computer uploaded a few PIM's i created from JPG's to the BG folder and the dvd works great, i went to change the background picture and i get the image "ghosted" over a frozen pic of my current location on the nav map. Anyone know what is going on? It loks like my image is transparent and fragmented over the nav image, i hope that description is good. Further i changed the BGOPEN.JPG to one of my choice but i do not know how to a. reset the unit to load it or b. i dontknow if i need to change the bgopen.pim as well any answers would be greatly
