could you do a reset on youre avic only oni i could do is the "method1" because the "MAP" button dont respond!... i wish i didnt pushed the reset button, because now it dont play at all.... it will be boring and quiet 1hour rides to work.. think i will buy a new on eBay if its 100% sure thats the HD is the problem.... would be nice with the HD3-II software and the new maps...

I have a similar problem... my Avic-HD3 stops at the Pioneer startup screen... the only buttons that work are the "open", "+ vol -" and "< track >".... plays music from the iPod! it did the same thing once 2weeks ago but now it wont go past the startup/Pioneer logo.... any ideas?

any body here knows the difference?.. because Pioneer in Sweden dont! thinking of buying the newer one or is it a waste of money?...

thanx for the fast reply!... hoping its easy to install and no hacks or mods needs to be done at first! exept the grounding of the handbrake cable and the moving of the "mute" cabel.... the Avic-HD3 is manufactured in July 2007....

as the topic says... which z-model should i check for tips and tricks for so they work with my avic-hd3 (euro ver.) ??

i want the id3 info to.. not the fine name.... crap... should i have bought something else then pioneer?... my old 8600mp displayed id3tags!

just got my avic and cant get it do display id3tags... just shows filename.. its a x1r.. the euro model of n2 i think!
