Just a heads up when i sent my 7000 in for repair i did not send in anything but the radio i left all the wiring in the car and had no problems from pioneer because of it

got my 7000 back yesterday and my delete route button works as it should

got lucky i guess mine never corrected itself and i had to send it back to pioneer it should be delivered back to me on thursday

does it still say autodetecting gps? is your time/date wrong

Well after over two weeks there website finally says "repair process complete" now let's see how long it takes them to ship it back

yup i went thru the same thing gotta call pioneer and set up a warranty appointment to have it fixed. mine has been in there hands for two weeks now and still nothing but in repair process on there site

yeah put if you go to the map screen it should say surching or something like that and if you do a reset your time and date will be off.

im going thru the same thing the solution is to call pioneer and mail it back to be fixed

I sure will let you know when it comes back hopfully that will be next week sometime

i have had this problem too sometimes touching the botton does nothing and sometimes it will go back to the map screen and the highlighted roads will be gone but it will still say the directions. but it doesnt really matter now because i lost the nav function all together and had to send it in to be repaired

My 7000NEX needed to get some repairs done under warrenty but i couldnt find my invoice for it. the warranty dept. at pioneer told me that it's not a problem they will just use the manufactured date of the head unit. i got min from an authorized dealer and do have the invoice now but the point of my story is you guys that got yours from ebay or whatever you can still get your radio fixed under the warranty if you tell them you lost your invoice

well after 3 days of calling pioneer i was able to get someone on the phone and i have to ship it back to them for repairs

well i hope it does correct its self i tried calling pioneer all day friday and the message kept saying we are doing training for the next two hours, that was all day...lol...sometimes when i go to the map screen i dont get the message put it says up top searching for sat

did anyone figure out a fix for this? I started getting this message Friday I tried reseting the unit and now the time and date is wrong

when i try to go to the map screen i get ths message " Positioning not possible due to the hardware. Please contact your dealer or pioneer service center" any clue whats this is about and how to fix it

my mic came from a pioneer deh-6400bt or something like that if it matters

mines on the sun visor i even make calls with the top down and people can here me crystal clear

im using my old microphone from my prev radio and people say i sound great

its not to big of a deal as long as you understand wiring it only took me about an hour to install one in my camaro but i have taken the dash apart more times then i can count and i didnt run the antenna outside. i placed it under the dash pad so its stealth

i have used the pioneer steering wheel remote in the past and hated the thing. it would always rotate on the wheel no matter how tight i made it and it went thru batteries all of the time.

im no stranger to pioneer i have had just about every avic product they made starting with the D1 and i also agree with you that avicsync should have come out with the radio but it didn't. my point was i wouldn't go and return my unit just because the app is not out yet or if it's not out by an exact date.

honestly i think everyone is making a big deal over all of this i will almost never buy something when it first comes out exactly for this reason its never complete. i ordered a avic-z150bh and after a few days they contacted me saying they no longer had them in stock and if i was ok with it they would send the avic-7000nex for the same price. does it suck that the app is not out yet....yeah kinda but i still love the radio anyway. there wasnt even talk about carplay when my unit arrived so i dont think anyone can be mad about how long it takes to come out. when it comes out it comes out

it's not easy putting steering wheel controls in if it doesnt already have them. i put them in my 97 camaro right after i put my nex in, i had to find a steering wheel and air bag from a later model camaro that had them in it then had to find a new clock spring luckly i was able to find a used one because new it was almost $500. after i did find everything i had to take the entire steering colum apart and swap evrything and wire it into the car. with buying everything used it wound up costing me about $200 and thats with all used parts. i only went thru all of this because my old steering whee
