  1. Called Pioneer, the part number you gave was correct. Thanks for the help. Tragedy avoided
  2. Ok, so will that work for the Z2? or is there somewhere else I can obtain the cage from?
  3. OK, so I'm transferring my Z2 from my old car to the new, and the old one didn't need the cage (part that goes into install kit and actually holds the unit) and I'm on Pioneer's replacement parts site, and not sure which part I need. Is it the Holder? part number: CNV8931? also, what is the Grill? part number: CNS9018.
  4. i have an iphone, the ipod interface, and a z2, i plug the phone into the interface, and the phone displays "this device was not made to work with the iphone" any solutions? i did search as well, but got a bunch of stuff on how to pair iphone with bluetooth.
  5. i have an sir-pnr1 connected to my z2, and i purchased it used, so no box. i installed the unit (in a location i do not care to get to again), and now i need the esn, and don't know how to get to it through the menus. i previously had an external kenwood setup, that ran through the FM, and was able to pull the esn up through the display. anyone know how to do this on the z2?
  6. is there a reason that there is a bunch of swastikas on the screen?
  7. It always changes, mine usually starts up "OK", but with the roads here in Louisiana, it doesn't take very long for it to flip to "excessive vibration". It hasn't caused a single issue for me. An I think once it does say excessive vibration, it doesn't ever go back, or at least until you restart your car/truck... thanks, i'll take a look when it starts up, just don't want vibration killing the hd or something.
  8. ok, have a z2, and an 01 audi s4, have the metra install kit, and no matter how i try to secure it, in the hardware menu, it always says "excesive vibration" anyone else have this problem? is this going to cause issues later on?
  9. i couldn't find the manual posted in the upgrade sticky, just an upgrade manual. if you send me the manual, or even a copy, i'll pdf it, and post for all
  10. just resetting the unit shouldn't cause a problem, just lose your presets and whatnot. although i don't think that will solve the problem. if the ipod won't even turn on when you plug it in, have you tried plugging your ipod into something different? another unit? or a computer, just to see how it reacts?
  11. no, thats fine, i have a z2 aswell. is there anyway to remove the pioneer logo?
  12. absolutely, post it for all.
  13. hit the pwr and grnd with a meter, really sounds like no power is getting to the unit. also, don't mean to sound like an ass, but if you hooked it up to the ignition, make sure the key is on. i've seen my fair share of stupid problems by professionals, so...
