Z140 Intermittent Not Powering Up
randomwalk101 replied to Grimlock's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
I have this issue with my 130bt lately. Never happened before until about 4 days ago. The issue is intermittent but happen quite frequent. I guess the only fix is to send it in or swap out the unit? http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35766-avic-130bt-power-on-issue/#entry260049 -
Hi guys Sorry my work place Internet started to block out all non work related sites so I'm on my phones. Please pardon the misspell & grammar. My 130BT unit is about 6months old and was recently upgraded to 2012 map (I'm in US) and also applied The hack to skip the navi nag screen. Everything was working like a dream until recently (3-4 days ago) when I hooked up a video input for the forward facing camera. It's just a simple RCA cable (yellow) plug into the video input of the unit and turn on the video input (AV2) and set to "video". No wire hacking, unplugging or anything.

How do I set up using the remote wire? Thabks

Hi guys I installed the 130BT about a year ago so don't remember off the top of my head and currently out of the country (on iPhone) so can't search for answer too well. Anyone knows if there is a trigger wire on the unit for the aux video input (like that of the reverse camera) or do we have to switch to aux video mode manually? Thanks for your help.

Awesome pionara. I think we will get it eventually. It'll be a challenge but the victory will be so satisfying -

Is there any electronic module that can simulate a "click", kind of like touching that stupid OK button once at start up? -

Back from the dead...but still no solution...yet...well, probably never will.. -
Dude. Put the cracked dll in there. The purpose of this program is to copy the dll to the unit for you so you don't have to play with test mode. Dude you're so lost. Read up in the other thread to get a good idea before you f** things up

A more step-by-step procedure is as followed: 1) Download the 140 firmware/map file, Condi Hackmode zip file, RenewallFlib.dll file, etc.. 2) Extract the Condi hackmode file to root of your SD card and put the patched RenewallFlib.dll file there too 3) Stick your SD card in your Pioneer unit..test mode should appears. 4) navigate to appropriate folder as described in post #1 here and delete that existing RenewallFlib.dlll file there... 5) navigate back to root of SD and copy that patched RenewallFlib.dll file then navigate back to the folder where you deleted the file and past the copi

Thanks mattaleao. So the original 130BT will upgrade perfectly with just 140 update zipfile. I'm not exactly sure what is the issue at this point. I guess I will try reformatting the SD drive again. I can't imagine unzipping the 140 zip file to desktop, drag and drop the three files (two folders and the cardinfo) to SD root directly that I can do something "wrong". I also used that same SD and put testmode hack on it and was able to load up hackmode just fine...so weird. Anyhow will try again after work I guess.

Joe Awesome that everything worked. You got me scared when you said you got stuck there. Do you have the orig 130BT and upgrade to 140? What cardinfo file did you use? If you don't mine can you upload it here? Thanks. I tried the orig cardinfo from shekana ..nothing happens. So I tried the cardinfo from post #12. Nothing. What now???
