Do ya think I could get the BT1 to work with the N4 or not chance of that ya think?

Hey guys! I have a question for all of you out there. Maybe someone can help me. I have the Pioneer CDBTB200 and an N4. I have a T Mobile Wing smart phone. I can not get the unit to pair with my phone or do anything else for that matter. It keeps saying invalid device. I have downloaded the Jetware application and it didn't do any good. Any more help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Shaun

I'm with tblazin on that one. Plus, I'm shocked that it's not in the D series instructions. I've never owned a D or installed it but I've installed an N2, 3, and now 4 and they all list the purple and pink wires in the schematic. Shaun

Yeah, I'll go with that. It's kinda like what I said about the XM data unit. Even though theres a hell of a lot of us on the forums and stuff, the AVIC community is still relatively small when ya think about it. I just got a new N4 and many of the stores still don't even carry it, and Heaven forbid install it lol. I think it's definitely an experience thing and the only way ya learn is by doing stuff like that. It's awesome that he's taking the constructive criticism though and fixing things without hassle. Also, I need to know what to tell him to do with these two wires. If someone has the time and patience to type that up so I can print it out. First, your camera issue is linked to that purple cable with a white stripe that you mentioned later in the post that you said he left in the box. I wish some people could just answer a question in a civil manner on one of these internet posts for a change instead of using it as a soap box for their opinions. To the ORIGINAL member that posted this reply... that channel is the default channel that EVERY Sirius radio goes to until the SID number has been activated and a phone call has been made to the 800 Sirius number. And for the record, I have an N4 with XM AND Sirius including XM Navtraffic and and additional receiver for XM Satellite Weather. Again, to the ORIGINAL individual of this post, I hope this helps! Hey Guys, I have a quick question. I have / had an AVIC - N2. Something happened where it won't power on or anything. I have since bought an N4 and I pulled the N2 head unit out of the car. Only thing is, when it died, it died with the screen up. Does anyone know of like an emergency retract button like on a disk drive like a pinhole or how to get the screen retracted without power or without being in the car any longer? I have arrangements to sell the head unit but shipping would be a lot easier if I could get the screen retracted. Let me know guys! Thanks! Shaun

Hey there! Does anyone out there know, or have an inside scoop on whether an N5 is being developed, when it will be released or what the features may or may not be. I'm deciding whether to purchase an N4 right now or wait til around Christmas which I have a sneaky suspicion there may be another one that appears around then. Electronics have a way of doing that.
