need the speed pulse wire so i can calibrate 3d. anyone mapped it out yet?

typical GM.... trying to make the escalade with its own idenity. but it still knows it is a tahoe, suburban... :)

here is a new one. i grounded the parking brake lead and the rouge pin together.... today i got an improper brake message. i think i have a bad connection. i will check it out and let you know....

are you angry.... i picked the dash kit. i could have flush mount but didnt want to wait to get a kit that was backordered twelve weeks. I have never liked the gm nav products so the z1 was a great find. i had a n1 in my 02 tahoe and loved it. all of my steering wheel controls work flawlessly. I have a xm-navtraffic unit enroute. they were backordered....

forgot to post pics.... had the install done the first week of aug. all is good. here is the result. i did a 10.5 flipdown monitor. looks great... did the new bypass for the 07/06. !todo esta bien!

did the 07/06 bypass. works like a charm. just be sure to reset the unit after the bypass is done..... thanks DB!!! FWIW i used the guide wire....

where you able to retain any of your facory power features such as turning the car off and having the unit stay on with the key in the ignition.... if so where did you get your kit?

if it is an old one i will swap it with ya. i have had mine installed for 4 days and cant seem to figure out the bypass. let me know....

i am able to do vicinity searches and such while moving. i just cant access the phonebook or do address searches, or watch a movie.... i am on the horn with a pioneer tech now. i willl let you know how things go

my unit is a july 06 unit.... and no luck. i double checked the install and everything is wred right. i get the dimming like i am supposed to. but no luck i even tried pulling it out. reseting the unit and trying again. f---ing pioneer. that makes me mad. all i want is to update nav and use the phone features on the fly.... i dont care about watching a movie while in motion....

Hi, Had my z1 installed. the bypass did not work. this is on an 07 suburban. now i have day running lights... does this matter. i cant seem to get the bypass to work manually. also was not able to get my bluetooth module to work either unless i grounded the pb wire? any ideas....

I know i am prolly asking already been handled questions. But... after you pair the phone... are you able to import phone numbers or contacts from a cd and store then to a particular book. I have a v3c razr from verizon and i am anticipating problems.... can this be done. is there a master phone book?
