I recently uploaded the 3.0 update found here: http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25751 I came across some problem though: 1.)I cannot update from the 3.0030 to the 3.01001 from pioneer 2.)In 3D mode street names wont show up on map. but in 2d it will any ideas Also my unit is F700BT and not F900BT if that has anything to do with it. I also followed the steps in the above link word for word twice.

My f700 BT is updated to the new 3.0 but i still want a few things. I want my Mute button that i had with the 2.0 and i want branded POI. Are these still possible using the old instructions and files?

that's about right. mine was going anywhere between 11mbs-52mbs and originally said twenty one hours but it sped up half way through and was done in three.

Did you update win ce? Yes i believe i did. Was i supposed to?

I did this download and everything is working. My unit says 3.00300. My problem is that when i went to pioneer website to try to download the 3.1 firmware, when i put the SD card containing the new LPEU080 folder it would not automatically recognize it and start the update process. Any ideas or suggestions?

How come you wont anser us about sharing the files? We would like to know if we can pay you to share your update with us if there is not any kind of code. Probably because you wrote this on the forum instead of a message and he can be legalally prosecuted if he does.

The new files that come in the update dont have the full igo file which will make your Avic unit work. This is why it was stressed and very important that yo copied your actuall igo file before you sart mods.

UPDATE: Turns out after i tried uploading the file. (keep in mind: each time took 6+ hours) it kept saying it uploaded but it would never show up. sent several emails to n681ma what problems i was having only for him to call them and they admitted that although it says upload up to 5gb you can only do 1gb per file. iGo zip is 1.54gb. :/ I have been trying numerous times and so many differnt ways but we just cant find one that works.

Okay well another froum member n681ma offered to share his info so i could upload it. If you would like a copy please PM me or n681ma your email address and we will be able to forward it to you.

ANy other free websites or users that are willing to pay for the service and share the info for me to host it? The above website will not load. Have tried it 3 times each way. :/ Remember the file is 1.56GB compressed, its not like a data file which is 5.6mb

I let it run on my laptop all night, yet when i woke up a message saying time to download had expired. I will try again today. Its kinda frustrating me.

Hey, I found a great site at http://www.pipebytes.com It doesn't restrict uploads or downloads in terms of size but I think it may restrict the speeds. I can get a "speedpass" to increase the upload/download speed though. Let me know if you'd like to go that route... Thanks a bunch btw. I'm going nuts with no music and my radio restarting every few seconds Im trying it right now but its gonna take a while. looks like a couple hours. hahaha

I am compressing mine and will try to post it. However its for the F700BT so i dont know if it will change anything. I had the same problem as you unitll i did Step 1. STep one is necessary!

Dont know im sure if you have a back-up of your originial iGO file before your mods, it should go the same. I havent kept up with EU upgrade but if there is on and you have those files. Give it a whirl!

I have gotten all to work again. Everything is working like the device i actually wanted to buy and was advertised. Right now i still have the branding mod, but still working on some more. But samatha now works, took her for a test drive last night.

Things you need: 2gb SD card Laptop/PC Steps: 1.)copy the Igo folder on your actual Avic unit MyFlash/APL2 2.)Move this folder onto you computer. (You will need the space 1.56gb is the size of Igo Folder) 3.)Put the testmode and Metacap folders on SD 4.)Also put the LPUE080 5.)Put the card with the above files in your Avic and start it up. 6.)Go back to the My flash Drive and (DELETE ALL FILES)even after selecting all and deleting,two popped up on me but i went back re-selected these and deleted them 7.)navigate back to the Storage Card 8.)Open the LPUE080 folder 9.)go to LPUE

Reinstalled it and my unit came back but still had some mods that were slowing it down. SO i decided to try this one more time. I uploaded his DATA.zip and replaced mine on my APL2/IGo folder but no changes? WHat am i missing?

Go for it! I purchased my F700BT back in July and finally after two upgrades most of the kinks are out. About to get the F90BT myself and change it out for my f700BT in a couple weeks.

This Works Just deleted my flash drive via using Testmode. Then opened my storage card where i already had the LPUE080 and TTS on. Went to LPUE080/APL/UPDATE aplication<-hit run Then it goes through normal update process.
