Jeeper...did you ever resolve this problem? I have an 08 Wrangler that has the whole right side cutting out, coming back in, cutting out again, etc. Same system as you...factory infinity system. Install was done by a professional shop. My jeep is there now with them.

I had a D3 installed professionally on my wife's car. She had this same problem within the first couple of days. It even killed the battery one day. The installer tried several fixes before replacing the whole D3 itself. It now works great. While this problem was an aggravation, the installer did a great job of taking care of us.

I just had a local shop (very good, very good reputation) put a D3 in my wife's 04 CTS. It works very well and looks great in the dash. They could not keep the DIC with the install. Looking at the OE unit that came out, I understand why. I don't know the degree of difficulty doing it yourself, but if you have a good shop do it, you will be happy with the results in a CTS.

I have been able to get my Palm Treo 700wx to connect...it took a lot of tries. However the quality of the microphone is bad. People on the other end of my calls constantly complain they cannot understand me. It could be the phone...I know the treo's have serious BT issues. But it certainly does connect...and it does autoconnect each time I get into the jeep.
