  1. Fantastic. I had tried a Galaxy S7 years ago and was not able to get the BT audio to work and gave up and returned the phone. Decided to try an S8 today and had the same problems. Downgraded the BT firmware to 3.24 and all is good. Thanks so much for these posts.
  2. Don't want to hijack this topic but from dahozzman's post above, I gather that the Z140 still had the BT problems documented in the BT MIC sticky thread. There is no reference to the Z140 in that thread. I had a Z1 years ago and the BT was unusable. I won't buy the Z150 if this problem has not be addressed. Anyone with a Z140 have a comment? If there is another thread on this, please let me know. Maybe some Z140 owners can post to the BT Mic thread. Thanks
  3. Preroll, thanks for the quick response. Would you say that the UI overhaul is a significant improvement or just different? Thanks again.
  4. Hi Guys. Anything new on the Z150BH from the guys that were at CES. I was all set to buy a Z140 right before the show. I am interested in the user interface and Maps pages. Any real improvements here? Traffic isn't important to me and it seems like all the iPhone 5 connectivity is available on the Z140. Any additional information would be appreciated. Don't really want to wait until the Spring but if the enhancements are worthwhile, I will. Thanks.
  5. I downloaded the files from the FTP site and it seems they got currupted somehow. When I used the Acrinis feature to check the archives, each one I tried was corrupted. I am trying to redownload them now. Where did you download your files from?
  6. I was one of the first people to get a post-June Z1 and corresponded with Ducatiboy regarding the fact that the light flashing bypass no longer functioned. Fortuanely, I was able to return my unot and get a May 2006 unit where the flasher circuit worked. However, as mentioned many times here, the BT echo was so bad I couldn't use it. I tried re-pairing with the Motorola Q volume set to minimum but it had little if any results. Today I applied the update (no problems applying) and switched to the 2 wire bypass. Much to my amazement (and satisfaction) the echo is totally gone! I want to
  7. Has anyone figured out how to key addional tones after the phone connection is made? My keypad disappears once the call is in progress. Also, how about storing additional digits in the phonebook? I have this set up in my phone so I can automatically have my password sent when I call voicemail, etc. Thanks.
  8. OK Guys, Here's some key information. I swapped my July unit out with a June unit, just unplugged one and plugged in the other and the override works fine. They clearly changed it sometime in July. Hopefully, someone will discover the latest bypass and Ducattiboy can find an automated way to implement it.

  10. Still looking for support info on the Verizon Treo 700W and/or 700P Thanks
  11. I tried wit and without the flasher, even disconnecting the cars illumination circuit and just pulsed the Z1 with 12 volts (which is what the flasher and turning your lights on do). It NEVER unlocked. Good luck with it. Hopefully there is s different bypass that someone will discover and post.
  12. Well, it seems like they must have changed them during July. I'm swapping my July unit for one made in June and I'll let you know what happens. I guess no one's going to be doing any SW upgrades when Pioneer comes out with them.
  13. My understanding is that it will let you drive 10-15 min then grey out most of the functions. I'm returninig mine and trying to find an older one. This really sucks as I'm sure any future updates from Pioneer will close this hole on units that don't currently have it. I believe in safety but not allowing you to cancel or change a route, let alone making a phine call is crazy. It's much more dangerous to try and make a call from the handset.
  14. That's pretty lame. It looks like all the phines in the list that support transfer are like that. Are there any phones that let you load the whole address book at once?
  15. So Lito, What's your manufacture date?
