Hey! I'm wanting a really good looking background of Maria Sharapova for a D3! Can anyone help?

umm.. I have the trim around mine like urs. But the bottom sticks out... I guess I just need to play with it some more to see what Im doing wrong.

Once you hook up the VSS it should start putting you back where you are. Also try moving the GPS you could be to close to the XM you got. They wont pick up to good on the dash either! Mine would drop out when I was out in the middle of no where with no trees around! I stuck it on the roof and BAM! full!

Just so everyone knows Crutchfield rocks! I had my Tuner since the 10th of last month and I got my D3 for x-mas. And to find out the tuner didnt work. So I called em up and they said they will send me a brand new on today! Even though I'm passed my 30 days!

Well if you tell someone to not watch a dvd while driving the car and they do then they shouldnt be driving your car in the first place! They are showing thay they could care less what you tell them. I guess you trust more people then I do!

Also I had to set the cam power to ground I think. Because the came wouldn't come on when I went in Reverse. It would come on when I went in drive haha..

Then how bout this... Don't put a DVD in it! dur.

only thing I got dealing with mounting it was two types of mounts. one is taller then the other.. and two dash covers... which I have no clue why...

Does anyone know where the reverse light wire is on a 2006 Ford F-150 STX? The wire isn't long enough to go to the back of the truck!

You did what I did, and mine works. Are you sure you have it on under the settings? Also are you sure you have the right power option on? You have the option of ground or battery.

Does anyone have a pic of their D3 installed in a 06 f-150? Or the new body style of the f150? I don't think mine is sitting in there right since theres a nice gap around the unit even after I put the trim piece in there.

Yep! Just turn the GPS Map on and he if does say he seen something moving on the screen just be all "You seen the map moving." he'll leave it at that.

I'm getting really tired of reading topics of people wanting to install a switch to turn off the bypass so if they get pulled over they can show the cop they cant watch a dvd while driving! Well thats the thing "while driving" how are you going to show the cop? Because you can watch dvds while your sitting still! The cop isn't going to jump in the car with you and take a role around the block to prove that you cant watch a dvd while driving! If your scared of getting caught while using the bypass then don't do it! Most cops are not going to know that the D1, D2 or D3 is bypassed witho

Thanks! The D3 is putting me about a block off where I really am and seen where others had this problem and hooked up the vss wire and it fixed the problem. I'll look at it tomorrow after work!

I don't know about the D1 but on the D3 you can just power the cam up on the ground and power leads going into the unit and run the reverse wire to the reverse light and the D3 will turn the cam on when you go into reverse. Also you can go into map view and click Reverse Cam and it'll come on also.

well snap! I got the backup cam working, looks great. But the SIRIUS turner isn't working. I called up SIRIUS and they tried everything they could, so they gave me the number to Pioneer. So I called them up. The guy went through the whole install with me, and at the end said that I had it installed right. So he thinks the tuner is bad!! So now I'm trying to get Crutchfield to send me a new one.
