  1. Hi All - I have an F90BT system set up for a GM installation and am wondering what I should try to sell it for. This was installed in a 2009 GMC Acadia, but will fit many 2007-2012 GM vehicles. I have: - F90BT w/iPod Cable - GM Wiring Harness - On-Star Module - GM Trim Kit - XM Radio Module - HD Radio Module - PAC Audio Steering Wheel Control Interface - All cables, Mic, GPS Antenna, etc. - Black Knob - Excellent condition Thanks!
  2. Hey Alex, In the 3.1 release, in Full Cockpit Mode, it doesn't appear to indicate when the guidance is muted? Did I miss a setting? Also, how do you make the street signs translucent like in previous releases? Thanks! Jim
  3. FYI - removing the spaces from the phone numbers fixed the issue. Thanks to all (Stephanie?) that posted this solution, as well as the tip on SQLite for FireFox. Jim
  4. Ok. I tried editing the phone book to remove all of the dashes in the phone numbers. I will post results. I didn't want to ask anyone to call me last night at midnight when I was re-loading the phone book. Jim
  5. I searched the forum and seem to have a unique problem. I just picked up a Motorola Droid, and have no issue pairing and transferring my phone book with my F90BT. Here is the problem. If I go to Contacts in the Avic, I can scroll to Joe Blow Mobile, press it, and it will call Joe Blow's mobile. If Joe Blow calls me from his mobile, it just displays the incoming phone number, no names. Any ideas? Anyone else have this issue? Jim
  6. Hey Alex! Nice job as always. Although I voted for the small button menus - I think I actually like this build better. I do have a stupid question I have been meaning to ask. What exactly do the red vs. blue themes change? I have changed my theme to Pioneer Red Day/Night, but can't see a single thing that has changed. Thanks again. Jim
  7. Yea - mine does that too. I just hit the screen to bring up the controls and press play.
  8. Yep - that fixed mine as well. Confirmed this morning - but haven't had a chance to post. Jim
  9. Sorry for the confusion. Large red as in the bottom picture in your last post. One mod I had (maybe it was IDT's) had a much smaller speed cam icon. I don't really use this feature, but it is nice to see where a speed cam might be. I definitely have the speed cam warning turned off. However, the last 2 versions of your mod (10-8 and 10-10) I only copied the APL/IGO2 files, as the dates didn't change on the others. I did not delete the other files because then I need to reprogram my home address every time. I could try a fresh install of your mod if you think that would help.
  10. With the Turn Restrictions on, I would get the visual indication as well as an audible indication, which is the 2-tone beep (kinda like a fast doorbell - ding-dong). Now when driving, in a route or not, with Turn Restrictions off I don't receive the visual but I still get the beep. Also, at one time with your mod (I think) the speed camera indicators were very small. Now they are large red. Is there a setting for this, or was this from another mod? BTW - this is a very nice and usable mod. Your suggestions for muting and canceling route while in cockpit view were very helpful. The cock
  11. Alex - this is a nice feature, as the turn restrictions are wrong almost all of the time. But with them turned off, I still get the 2-tone beep when they would normally show. How can I turn that off? Jim
  12. I really like the mod. The new cockpit view is awesome. The only feature I would like to see added to the cockpit view would be a mute button. Also, is there a way to have a button to switch from normal navigation view to overview, so you can either see current location or the full route plotted out? Thanks again. A modest paypal donation is on the way. Jim
  13. Nah - that doesn't work for me. I usually shut down on my XM screen. I can tell you that it ALWAYS works the first time after copying the files over in test mode. I'm not sure if that is any help - but thought I'd mention it.
  14. Dude - this version rocks! I love the fact that the road signs are smaller and that you moved them over so that the clock is still visible. My only minor complaint is that the clock is hard to read in the nighttime scheme. I look forward to the MSN version. Hopefully someone will figure out how to make the trip-comp work consistently. Thanks again. Jim
  15. One question, how do you get the small trip computer on the map screen? Thanks - Jim
  16. Here is what I am talking about for the car position. I am sitting about 50' short of the intersection in this situation. Also, regarding day/night, I did have my day/night setting set for automatic. I reselected auto and it switched from night to day mode this morning.
  17. IDT - I am running the 3.1 version on page 23. The location of the red arrow in default FW 2-d mode always showed the point of the arrow as my actual location. This mod shows the back of the car as my current location - that is why I pointed it out. Maybe I need to recalibrate somehow? My system no longer switches to night mode at nighttime - I must select it manually. In the morning I must manually switch from night to day mode. Jim
  18. FYI - a couple of things I have noticed, as well as a few questions: - House numbers are always on the wrong side. How do you turn them off? It would be nice if they were a darker font closer to the "car', but that is just me being picky. (I like the way they were in the Maverickster Mod) - The current actual location is at the front of the rear window of the red car in 2-d mode. It would be nice if the actual location was the front bumper of the red car. - The trip computer is unreliable. It works for me no more than 25% of the time. After reading other posts, it sounds like that may
  19. Nope, all is stock official Pioneer firmware except for the 3 files from you.
  20. Man - the trip computer is driving me crazy! I can't get it to start at all today! The only time I have been able to get it to start has been playing around in the driveway. There's no way you have to start it before you get under motion, is there?
  21. Well I went out to take the pix, and noticed my trip timer running. Took a drive around the block and it worked o-k. Weird. I will keep an eye on it. I did take some pix and sent them to your e-mail IDT. You can see the word "settings" in the background on the Trip Computer screen. My phone doesn't take great pix, but I think you'll see what I mean. Also, the camera icon is missing a horizontal row of pixels. You should see that in the pic. I like the mod, and will send a little beer money your way. Jim
  22. I deleted all the files in the iGo\Save directory and my GPS signal strength is high. The Trip Computer worked immediately after install, but nothing after I reset them. Also, when you go to the Trip Computer screen, there is text that you can see behind the main text at the top of the screen. Not sure exactly but I could go take a look if you like. I have not tried a reset. Jim
  23. I also can not get the trip computer to start - the only field that updates is the speed. Immediately after installing the mod, I went to the trip computers and all 3 had data, so I reset them. Now I can't get them to start. Any ideas? Jim
  24. Yep - never ejected SD2. Went to MSN and the upgrade started - took about 8 minutes.
  25. Yes - I had the x series 3.0, so it would not start the upgrade. All I had to do was delete MyFlashDisk and copy the backup over. The first time I must have left something orphaned, because I had to do it again. The upgrades don't seem to care what version of OS you have. The official F-Series firmware seems to perform slightly better on the unit than the hacked x-series did. The map scrolling is now very smooth, key beeps by default are low, etc. In my opinion, there are some obvious usability issues that Pioneer could have addressed, but don't seem to bother others here. For example,
