  1. I updated the maps on my avic5000nex with all new firmware in August and then purchased the Q42019 map update. I did the sync and the navi tool box, but it had an error on the navi toolbox I didn't realize until doing the update on the deck. It shows it has maps from 2013 and 2019, but it clearly did not upload the 2019 map update. When I use the Navitool box tool it only shows the 2013 maps as the only available maps I can download to the usb. I tried factory reset but it doesn't erase the maps database which is now showing almost 4gb of space being used. Talked to Pioneer tech
  2. Update: Forgot I needed to turn on VGA mode to use appradio. It turns off carplay access till I switch it back to USB input. I had it working last year when I hooked it up but it no longer works now. I found that there was an issue with ios 11 but nothing that says they ever fixed it or that it works now. Especially since ios 12 is out. I just get a Incompatible USB ERROR or a blank black screen now. Avic-5000NEX Firmware is 1.15 Any help or info on this matter? Thanks!
  3. Wireless OBD II transmitter sent to your phone then linked via iOS carplay to radio. Google it! Plenty of videos on Pioneer and Dashcommand working together.
  4. Can't you use the wireless OBD II adapter from like PLX or OBDLink to the iPhone then use the DashCommand app via Carplay? I know it works with the 5000 supposedly as a option.
  5. You send the file to anyone yet to see if it works on another unit??
