  1. I live in Montana, Beartooth Pass 10,974 ft.
  2. Did you switch the AV input on your 90 to iPod ?
  3. Boy, that's an old one. If I remember right that had the old shark fin antanna. That model won't work with the 90. You'll have to get the GEX-P920XM. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... GEX-P920XM
  4. My source doesn't have any info for the 2008, however for the 2007 it shows VSS WIRE Green/orange On Diagnostic plug under driver's dash. Your 2008 might be the same however if you try it, test it first to make sure.
  5. You need to change your AV input to iPod
  6. What are you afraid they'd do to it anyway ? Just cirious.
  7. It's been down to -20 F here, and I haven't had any problems.
  8. Sounds to me like you got a hot D1, hey anybody out there had their D1 ripped off lately ?
  9. First of all is your antanna electric (in other words does it go up and down when the radio's turn on and off)? Second, does your antanna have and amplifier to amplify or boost the signal ? The blue wire off the 90 is only a signal wire to signal the antanna to go up and down, it's not to be used to power an antanna booster or the antanna itself. See pages 6 & 7 of your installation manual : http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Stati ... al0520.pdf So you'll need to determine what the blue wires are for before connecting up the blue wire off the 90. Like blackh8552 noted we may be able to
  10. Can't be done with the 900. Besides that you don't want back seat drivers.
  11. I found running the jumper makes for a little cleaner install, but like joegr said, either way will work.
  12. The 90 comes with the iPod cable, a two year warranty, and high volt pre-out (4.0v) The 900 doesn't come with the iPod cable, has a one year warranty, and has the low volt pre-out (2.2v). Other than that they're the same.
  13. run a jumper wire from the first amp to the second amp
  14. Sounds to me like you need a new battery
  15. Your camera should have three leads other than the rca connection. You should have a power lead (red) lead probably connected to the same red lead to your head unit which is the switched power. A ground (black) of course connected to a ground. And the reverse signal lead which as you know connected to the wire to your reverse lamp that recieves 12V when your car is put in reverse. Like I mentioned before you should test this connection to see what it does when you put it and out of reverse. I suggested a multimeter but if you don't have one you can use a test lamp. If you don't have one of the
  16. Yes, it should be connected to the reverse signal lead, it could be that's where they tapped into it (all the leads going to the back come from the front). You could take a multimeter and test it to see if you get a reading when it's put in reverse. Double check their connection also, maybe it's bad. What vehicle do you have ?
  17. Did you look at pages 30 and 102 of your owners manual ? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/p ... Manual.pdf
  18. Pull the unit and check your connections
