Hey can you help me with software for C9P5 Pioneer. My car radio came with no Sd card from Japan.

It's not makever you need but extractbmp, run it with "encode" as a parameter and the gzipped bitmaps in a directory named bmp1 along with the uncompressed versions. There's a script in "updated" to zip all the bitmaps. This will all be easiest on a Linux box. I know it's not the easiest to use but I really only made this for myself.

This post shows you how to change the splash screen, I've done it on mrz99 and it works fine but you have to know what you are doing and experiment a bit.

dzo hello..i accidentally delete user files and now the radio opens in black screen with chinese letters in the middle and a number 7 on the down right corner..i also dont have the option for copy and paste.what to do?

Sorry if I am bothering you too much with requests. Would you please suggest, based on your knowledge and experience, how I can tackle the problem I am facing with Pioneer Carrozzeria MZR09, posted previously on page 47 (with image) and also on page 49. I just can't figure out why the unit copies data from any source and can paste to any media but cannot paste to USER folder: which in my case it is empty. There is no DIR content: These files are missing:- PRGO, PRG1, RW, SETUP, SESTEM, VOLUME. How do I enable the unit to paste these backup files in USER folder? Or what should I do.?

Was anyone able to write to the user file? I'm having same issues, and I'm unable to write the backup to the user file. User file is currently empty.

That .DAT file looks fine (the subaru logo), though it might be upside down. Looks like you are close, seems like the checksum in the VER file is not correct. The other VER files in your zip seem to use a different checksum method, (crc32b). Try the attached makever.c instead. You might also want to try creating an OPN100 folder with the .DAT file in it and copying the ver file to OPN.VER . When it worked, my folder structure looked like this: AVICMRZ90/ --NA090OPN.DAT --NA090OPN.VER --OPN.VER --OPN090/ ----NA090OPN.DAT makever.c

Compilation and generation of NA090OPN.VER succeeded.

The navigation side is not aware.Is the file structure of the SD card OK?

My navigation was NA100OPN and NA092OPN.
Internal system file are almost the same as NA090.
When I made NAXXXOPN.DAT and NAXXXOPN.VER, I changed it to NA100 or NA092, including the inside part of NA090.
Please give me advice. -

I don't think there is an easy way to dump the existing splash screen because it's on a separate partition and not accessible to the file manager. Attached is a data file with a pioneer logo, you can view it in gimp by importing it as raw 800x600 rgb565 with a 512 byte header. The important thing to get correct is the directory structure for the update, I think the main directory name has to be the same as the product name in: /USER/PRG0/PF090APL.HTM Yours probably won't be AVICMRZ90. PIONEER.DAT

NA090OPN.DAT of MRZ99 and MRZ09 ...
I got Nissan genuine MP310-A and Daihatsu genuine NMDP-W59.
Both are equivalent to the MRZ 99, and the splashstart launch screen displays the Nissan and Daihatsu logos.
I want to rewrite this.
However, I first want to know how to back up the car company's original [NA090OPN. DAT].
Also, if you do not know how to create NA090OPN.DAT, can you send me a sample? -
Looks like it's the same as mrz02 so use the .LNG file from that. Try overwriting all the .LNG files.

Here's the NA090JPMZD.LNG translated, this should be the correct one for a Mazda. If not, try replacing the others. NA090JPMZD.LNG

Hi, Yes, the images are a bit tricky to work with. This is what I do on a Linux box: copy Image.img to current dir mkdir bmp mkdir bmp1 extractbmp edit the bitmaps in "updated". They must be 16 bit windows 3.x format, gimp can save this format but not many other image editors can. run the script in "updated" (it needs gzip) extractbmp encode This should produce Image1.img, rename it and copy it to the unit.

I appreciate your effort to contribute solutions in AVIC411.com forum. By your instruction i managed to change most of AVIC MRZ09 language to English. Now suddenly the unit began depicting initial flash of screen and then turns to black with japanese scripts and a number 6 at the bottom right corner. Google translate says "failed to start program " and screen remains frozen.
I hope you have a way go solving this problem. I will appreciate your help.
