  1. Hello Dzo,

Sorry to knock you over this issue since I can see that you are quite busy.

I was just wondering whether you still have the backup for MRZ99 ?

I downloaded the zip file from your post no 59 on my Sd card and then changed the script to SD/ from USB. After inserting the SD card the installer started in a red background and then changed to green and it keeps on rebooting.

As of now my player is stuck on the screen as I have posted below but I can hear audio when I insert a Cd into my MRZ99, but I can enter testmode. Please help me !

Also the very same SD card that I used for the backup isn't working so I don't ave any backup

    Thanks

    Shakawat

  5. will the english file work on the avic-mrz05?

  6. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

OK, last try: testmode_NX007.zip or testmode_nx064.zip
  7. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

    How about this: testmode_NX146.zip
  8. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

I don't think that's the correct file, but you still need to be able to copy and paste. Can you try the testmode key from post #90.
  9. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

The language strings should be in PRG0/APL/LANGDATA, can you not select a directory for copying?
  10. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

Can you copy the NX064 directory to an sd card and post it somewhere. You can use google translate on a phone to do a live translate of the japanese messages.
  11. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

Item 9 on the first page is the file manager. This should let you copy and paste the language files to an sd card. It should be very silimar to this: There is a chance that copy and paste doesn't work without the correct testmode key.
  12. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

I'm pretty sure the zh77 is completely different to the mrz77 so it very unlikely my language file will work. Try getting into test mode and post the langdata files here and I'll take a look at them. Don't replace anything though.
  13. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

Post #264 says this works on mrz06 so try it and see, make sure you backup the existing language files first.
  14. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

It's a C program that takes 2 parameters, the filename of an input bitmap and the filename for an output bitmap. Compile it and from a command line do: fixbmpheader b1853.bmp b1853a.bmp b1853a should then be the correct size.
  15. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

That's what the fixbmpheader.c code does, the mrz99 bitmap format is slightly different to the rgb565 gimp produces. If you run the modified bitmaps through fixbmpheader they should be the correct size.
