  1. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

Hi everyone. I haven't yet got any hint for solving the above problem posted on page 47. Any assistance from this forum is welcome.
  2. AVIC-MRZ99 Custom Firmware / Testmode

Hi Liolic99 I had a new issue with error 7 bottom right as shown in my previous image and post addressed to dzo on page 47 I have had no response so far and no solution yet. Probably if dzo is still around he can write a script which will enable automatic pasting to USER follder, which in my case (MRZ09) the DIR is completely empty. Not even the SYSTEM folder exists.. I am stuck.

Hi @dzo, Your contribution is appreciated always. I jump boosted a battery to start my car The AVIC MRZ09 shows the characters in Japanese shown below, translated ''there is no program'' with number 7 at the bottom right of screen. The USER/DIŔ shows no content Any help to revive this unit? I have original USER content backup and the English one from your previous posts. . I tried copying and pasting the backups to the USER folder but nothing happens or shows up. The Unit copies and pastes to any other media like FLASH DISC OR SD but does not paste in USER folder.. Any help to revive it.?

How I solved my problem finally with AVIC CARROZZERIA MRZ09. I remembered to have saved two backups for USER folder in my laptop. 1) Version before using DZOs auto Japanese-English setup which worked flawlessly in my AVIC MRZ09. 2) Version after successful conversion to English following DZOs programme. 1) I entered in TestMode using buttons and navigated up to USER DIR, then selected all files therein and hit delete. It took time but got it done. 2) Copied the English version of backup folder into the flash disc and transferred the contents in the USER folder of the AVIC MRZ09.. It took quite a bit of time to paste. Finally it got done. 3) Removed flash disc and switched off ACC. Waited for the unit internal fan to stop completely and switched back to ACC. 4) The unit got back alive without black screen and works fine. I hope this solution may help someone with similar problem like mine.

  9. Hi Dzo

I appreciate your effort to contribute solutions in AVIC411.com forum. By your instruction i managed to change most of AVIC MRZ09 language to English. Now suddenly the unit began depicting initial flash of screen and then turns to black with japanese scripts and a number 6 at the bottom right corner. Google translate says "failed to start program " and screen remains frozen.

I hope you have a way go solving this problem. I will appreciate your help.

Hi all of you here. Those who write in Russian scripts are denying us of vital knowledge. Could they Please write in English for everyone to understand responses or suggestions and avoid asking same questions repeatedly. I had asked before if any one has figured out how to set local time. My unit is MRZ 09. It sets itself back to Janese time zone. Ours is GMT +3 zone. Any help in English will be appreciated.
