Go for the PAC brand of interfaces work much better and easer to install also connects directly to PAC steering wheel interface those metra adapters suck get a lot of interference with the sound and they turn the radio all the way off when you use onstar the PAC ones just mute the sound With Bose no onstar C2R-GM24 With on star only OS-2 With onstar and Bose OS-2Bose

I LOVE my pioneer units it started with my n1 then I got a z2 very nice unit but seams like it could have had more thought and now I have a d3 only down side is the need to have the DVD for nav but ipod is much better screen size really doesn’t seam noticeably different when installed I cant stand those portable units they have me drive in circles and strange routs I had garmins and a tom tom brand and trashed em but I think the d3 would be the smarter choice until they update the z series

PAC is the best metra is junk i have had and see over 6 of these and they barley work the pac is so easy and wires nicely also steering wheel controllers are plug and play with there box

i always run it to the rev light ruse

I pulled my mute wire out to do the bypass on my z2 and it turns out that I need it for my gm truck when on star is uses so I want to put the “guide on†wire where the mute wire belongs but I forgot where the mute wire was plugged in on the harness ?

I don’t mean to be a pain but when i try to download that file i cant download it could someone send this to me please i need to go out of town Monday for 2 months and need to get this finished
