  1. Mine soudns great....I had a sportster before...it ran wirelessly fm and then with a fm modulator....the z1 sounds perfect with sirius..I also had xm on a 100% complete sonyunit a few years ago (in dash tv, dvd changer, cd changer, xm, tvt tuner, etc) and still think sirius sounds better...just my .02 (also have sirius throughout my house in 8 different rooms again...sounds perfect)
  2. I have a 2004 excursion and everything is behind the dash and under the z1. I have the bluetooth and sirius modules, as well as ipod and cd changer in the glovebox.
  3. I think my shop did it wrong..everything works great (july unit, wires grounded) but then after a while it goes into "parking brake not etc..and wont let me watch dvds or navigate...I have to stop reset the z1 and then its fine untill it decides to do it again. Picked it up today and has done it 3 times already. Any ideas? The sop installer said he gounded the wire as described on here...I bought the bypass relay jus in case but they said they didnt need it.
  4. Thanks....I figured it was real easy..just when you have all these pieces being installed at once sometimes its alot to research.
  5. My excursion currently in 50 different pieces as the local shop is installing some goodies (avicz1, sirius, tv tuner, bluetooth, ipod, cd changer, back up camera, factory steering wheel control mod, etc) They have the pbrake bypassed and the rear camera works in reverse. How do you connect it so the rear camera and nav screen are on at the same time? They said a simple relay should solve this..but I thought I saw in a pioneer catalog a screenshot of this..u know the one with the 2jet skis in tow? I took a peek of the setup today it sounds a ton better (b4 i had big 5ch amp, jl stealhbox
  6. Anyone with any experience or screen shots of this in use? I just bought one to add to my system and was just wondering what the feedback was from anyone on here.
  7. OK I understand now...I have heard that the steering wheel controls arent quite as fast as the factory controls...I too will be installing the steering wheel control unit (SWI-PS. from PAC)..I was planning on the IR remote as well.
  8. What do you currently have on your steering wheel?
