Can someone tell me how I can get rid of all of my bluetooth phones that are on my Z1? I have like 6 of them on there and I don't have those phones anymore.

Can someone tell me how I can reset the Z1. I have numerous bluetooth cellphones stored that I don't have anymore and can't get rid of them....So I figured I'll just reset the unit.

I have a Pioneer Z1....Recently, My CD's won't eject. I hit the eject button and the CD comes right to the edge of the opening (not enough for me to grab it). It then goes back in and starts playing. Has anyone had any sinilar trouble with this? And if so do you have a remedy? Thanks in Advance! eap0108

I have a Bypass that I installed with my Z1 about a year ago from Ducatiboy...If I update my Z1 with the Z2 will that affect the bypass from working any longer? And if so, is there a fix to make it work again after the update? Thanks in advance!

I have a AVIC-Z1 that I purchased about 1 year ago. With all of the new streets and other areas that have been popping up, does anyone know if there is a map update for the unit since I purchased the unit. Thanks!

I have a AVIC-Z1 for about 10 months now....and was wondering if there are any map updates for the unit. When I use the Nav. I notice that some POI's are not in the system but the POI's have been around for about 2 years and was wondering if there is an update.

Yep! I have a 07 Avalanche and had to do the same thing....I cut just enough to make the Z1 fit! Works fine...Don't worry 'bout the cut on yours.

Hey Ducatiboy! Just reading the posts and came across this one. You ARE one hell of a guy...And I for one thank you for all of your efforts and your honesty. I did purchase one of your Flasher units for my Z1 and it worked after a few tries with my installer (you probably remember me emailing you about it). You are truly a gentleman and a scholar. I applaud you sir! Not many people would do and say what you have done and said. Thank you again for your honesty. It goes to show that there are still good people out there. Thank you again!

I have the factory steering wheel controls that came with the factory radio. I've purchased the adapter that hooks into the Z1 and then gets programmed into my steering wheel controls. But that hasn't been working to well, so I thought I'd get the Pioneer wireless remote.

I am curious as to how the CD-SR1 wireless remote works....How does it communicate with the Z1? Do you need anything extra. Because the hookup I have now with my steering wheel remote doesn't work to well. Is it a plug & play type of remote? Or do I have to configure it to work with the Z1? Thanx

Thanks DucatiBoy....I will contact him regading this...I didn't think that sounded normal. He said that it was a real pain to program it, so maybe he didn't do it right. Thanks again.

I have an SWI-PS steering wheel control box hooked up to my AVIC-Z1. Sometimes my controls on thesteering wheel don't do anything when I use it. My installer says that thisis normal and it happens. I asked him to re program the SWI-PS to the steering wheel and he said it won't matter and that it will probably stillwork sometimes and sometimes it won't. Is anyone else finding the same issue with this or is my installer just plain too lazy to re-program it.

Sounds Great....But how did you program the remote to work with the Z1? How does it know which functions are which when you press a button on the remote?
