Does the Launcher work with the 2.0 firmware update?

I noticed something this evening and I wonder if other people have experienced this. When you select the avic from the launcher it loads ok, but here is what is missing: 1. XM & Sirius do not display channel or information. 2. FM & AM as well as HD Radio do not show frequency or text. 3. Volume display is missing. 4. EQ is disabled. The unit is usable, you just cant see what you are listening to. Anyone else notice this? Thanks.

Good point. I hope the mod will progress further to allow integration with other features of the AVIC.

This is a really nice modification. Works great on my system. How I wish that my iPod or Satellite Radio would work when using IGO8. The interface is nice and clean. Nice job on setting up this mod. I am not a programmer, but I would think that the IGO8 could replace the IGO currently being used on the AVIC. Are they that different? I look forward to the progress in this mod. Who do I send beers to?

Do you have to install Tom Tom 7? Is that a free download from someplace?

I have 19,000 songs and I didn't do it for every song. I just went through and the ones I thought I would use it on, I did, which amounted to about 600 of them.

Since I don't really use the Genre tab on my iTunes, I put the name of the song there. Then I can ask the HU to play genre "song title" and it will.

Its nice to have some color options. But I need some help. I was scrolling through the choices and I loaded up the gerd_day and gerd_night schemes and when I went back to map, an error popped up and it kicked me out of the navigation mode. Once kicked out, I could not get back into the navigation program, nor could I get to settings to change the scheme. When I finally shutdown and restarted my vehicle it keeps the startup message on and then 3 or 4 minutes into the loading it reboots. During the bootup I can access CD, XM, SIRIUS, iPOD and HD RADIO, but NOT the settings to change t

Mine started working today, so it had to be something in the interpretation not in the script. Everything works great now.

BorisM, I dont know if its my unit or not, but I was using the old scripts you had and I could go on the map and move the cursor to a place on the map and set up a new camera, but the new scripts, when I move the cursor, it removes the button that lets me add a camera to the intersection. Did you make some changes on how that interacts? Thanks.

I noticed something today. If you start your vehicle and drive and listen to XM, Sirius, or iPod the device will not warn you of a speed camera, but if you switch to map, click the EULA ok and then go back to XM, Sirius or iPod it will now warn you of the camera. So clicking the EULA must load the other features of the navigation. I wish it would work all the time since the computer loads everything anyway.

I have gone to the simple ones for modification, I inserted BorisM's POI Address finder which is 3 files. I am using WinRAR and archiving to ZIP. I run Windows Vista.

My unit keeps resetting after each mod I try. I have the Vorian Data on the system now, but if I make any changes to the data file, my unit will take quite a bit longer to boot and will keep resetting after 3 or 4 minutes. The iPod, XM, Sirius, CD and all the Audio links work fine during this time, but the Navigation system just hangs. I keep reverting back to the Vorian Data and then it works fine. Any suggestions?

Perhaps I missed a step, but need some assistance. I downloaded the scripts and injected them into the data.zip file, the first time it failed and gave me an error, I was using ZipGenius. I re-did the zip using WinRar and worked great (used the zip feature, not rar) and it loads up and the startup message just sits there, it doesn't go away and the system keeps resetting every 3-4 minutes. I can goto iPod, Siruis, XM, radio and such, but going to maps or destination just locks it up at the EULA screen, all while the startup screen (Please Wait) screen stays on the screen. Did I do

The Speed Camera and Red Light Camera data files are they suppose to be txt files?

Just so I don't mess something up... Just take the files/folder in the zip file and overwrite the ones on my F900BT? Of course make a backup first.

So unlocking the Speed Camera interface will allow the unit to work like it does in Europe? Also what is the Weather Warning screen on MSN Direct? Something in addition to what is already there? Thanks.

I filled my BUILDING folder with all the missing ones and the systems seems to work normally. Unfortunately, I don't live where these will show up, so I need to road test it.

My BB started to work tonight. I removed any duplicate entries and then it worked like magic. Connects without problems and everything works as planned. I did a 45 minute drive tonight and it did not disconnect at all. I am finally happy.
