  1. got mine yesterday... I bought mine from 6ave.com on 2/12/08 and sent in the rebate 2/28/08.
  2. Since I already had a hole cut through the headliner, I put the large piece of the mic clip in the headliner and put the small piece that actually holds the mic through the headliner. That way the mic is no longer in the headliner and I still use the existing hole. Looks pretty good.
  3. Moving the mic fixed it... sounds crystal clear now, thanks!!
  4. I didn't know that.... I'll try moving the mic and post back.
  5. I'm having the same problem in my altima. My callers complain that it sounds really windy and that there is an echo. I have tried grounding the bluetooth seperately but it didn't help. I guess I'll try moving it and then if that doesn't work I'll try rechecking the mic wire. I have the mic mounted through a small hole I cut through the headliner by the visor. I have the bluetooth behind the passenger kickplate under the dash. Any other suggestions?
  6. So let me see if I have this right for the Altima.... I connect the blue wire from my antenna adapter to the red wire and thats it??. Is the red wire from the vehicle harness or from the avic? Is that the accesory wire? Do I have it right?? What about the blue wire coming from my head unit?? I think I'm confused on whether I have to connect two or 3 wires and where to locate them. Thanks so much for the help.... everything else is working perfectly!!
  7. I just finished my avic d3 instal on my 07 Altima but my radio reception is terrible.... does any one know which wire I need to connect to on my vehicle. Thanks!
  8. fyi.... worked fine when i tapped in to the red/yellow wire. pin #8
  9. Which wire does the illumination wire from the Avic go to?? I've red both the the red/blue and the red/yellow off the Altima vehicle harness..... which one is it? What is the best way to connect the wires.... t-tap??
