I belive the problem is thr hacked ezrider and TMC. You can have Bluetooth or TMC but not both together. I wanted to look into tis more but need an origional europe map that supprts TMC and a valid licence then I can do some more experiments with the original ezrider. If someone can help with maps and licence for ver 3 then I may be able to acheive something. I have my Aus unit now workng perfectly with 8.3 maps but have had to make changes in the device settings to disable TMC because I want my bluetooth.

There are no software mods built into my data.zip. You will have to do that yourself or do the hardware mod. More than likely that is your problem. Thanks dpburst. I fixed it and it was the parking brake lead. I have another question for you. After installing the unit and all, I noticed that I no longer have the option to change the mute settings for when the navigation kicks in ie change the unit to go from full mute, to att, to disable in the "AV settings" sections. Does someone have a european map that supports TMC and a legit license? Least then I can check bluetooth with a legit ezrider and see if I have the same problems, if I do then it's not ez. I do not want all the maps just the smallest possible one that supports TMC.

Well I took a step backwards and installed my old ver 2 files on the flash disk, but installed ezrider ver 3 and maps etc. Maps work fine TMC works fine Bluetooth not found but does not crash. From what I can see Tel.exe looks to igo eg. ezrider for the bluetooth connection settings etc. Why is this such a nightmare???? Is the hacked ezrider not suitable for our units. Is anyone else having issues with TMC and bluetooth. Who hacked ezrider? Can thy give me some insight?

Lots of patience, a very messy windows desktop, a very organised SD card and a lot of walking in and outside the house. I'm really thinking of ripping the unit out and bringing it inside. What I really want is a way too plug an sd card into the 900 and have direct read write access at the same time via USB from the desktop computer. If that makes sense. So a USB to Male SD card? It would make the process so much quicker.

Just changed bluetooth firmware back to original. Nothing resolved. May even condsider put all ver 2 files back on and seeing if ezrider 3 and maps etc works.

No, we are all listening really! Have you tried reading though the F900BT service manual. It was downloadable from this site somewhere and might help you find out why TMC is crashing or how the parts interact. Just an idea. I never had this issue with ver 2, but great idea and if someone has the manual I would be willing to look at it. Looking inside ezrider I can see that it wants to or tries to interact with the bluetooth drivers. I can live without TMC but I hate it when something does not work to it's full potential. I have allready done this. Thanks anyway. It is a clean install with fresh format. I would love to try a legit EZrider with legit license with TMC but there is no Ver 3 for Australia and it looks like it wont be supported as sensis maps are only compatible with ver 2. Does anyone else have a view on this subject.

Can anyone with European unit that uses TMC and uses a hacked ezrider 3 check if bluetooth and tmc are working at the same time. Or if someone with a legit ezrider replace it with the hacked version and see if they both work together. I have continued a thread at viewtopic.php?f=34&t=23158&start=60 and have ver 3 running on an Australian unit. If I enable TMC then Tel.exe crashes andno bluetooth. Pretty much talking to myself in this thread, but it's good note keeping for myself. Changed TMC to use different com port than 4. Same issue occurs if TMC is enabled tel.exe crashes. I might sit down and disect ezrider 3 and see what happens.
